Back after an enjoyable day at Railex 2011.

Just been uploading a few photos of some of the layouts.

First the "hosts" layout in its wintery finery:

Witney slipped into a worm hole for an hour or so this afternoon :O

Next a few of the layouts which caught my eye - the best for me was Sheep Pasture - i like quirky and this layout was very original.

Came back with more than I went - well, not money, of course..

It was nice to meet you again Chris, next time you will have to bring along some of your rolling stock.

Actually I did bring a couple of engines along, but of course mine are DC so couldn't run them!

I'm sitting here with my latest litle 1F tank and a CT 6 pin chip which was destined for my Farish DP1 and wondering if I dare...

Yes Don it was a good show, with some quality layouts on show, as I hope my photos show. I didn't get round to them all - Chris Nevard's Coombwich for instance - though I guess there are enough ( and better) photos of that already! ;)

I have added a couple more, by the way.

Nice to see you yesterday Chris. I would echo Missy's comments - it would have been good to see some of your stock.

Very cool photos Chris - it's a shame I didn't get to stop and chat to you properly at the show!

The desolate effect on Witney Euston is very effective... jsut need to convince Mark that it needs some nice parafin cans on a more regular basis. ;)
