Must be time to fit lighting to the rolling stock now then! Looking very good, but its a shame to hide so much detail under cover of darkenss.

First pic is great missy.. really atmospheric! Wonder if Andy will turn off all the lights and cover the windows to see a recreation at the members day!

Oh the joys of modelling but the results speak for themselves. And you can see all that detail in the signalbox. It does emphasise though even with LEDs you should think about how they can be replaced. Can wait to see the nightime arrival of a lit up Elvis at a lit up station.

Beautiful work as ever, Missy. Thanks for sharing experiences on the problems encountered with the lighting. Must remember the need to be able to replace them easily (btw, I haven't forgottten your idea with the tea-lights for my goods depot).

Of couse since this post I have now found another bulb blown in those station lamps! Looks like I will be changing that one next then!

 

I spent most of today messing around with the layout lights too, I found out that they were wired up incorrectly so thats another job to do before the RMWeb meet. Rather ironic really as the layout looks lots better in the dark!
