Hi All,

Now I am up and running with the blog, I will continue with the conversion pics. The conversion uses 2 BS shells, 3 SO shells and two of the large MLV driving ends. Replica print a conversion guide for this, but I have done the DMBS differently.

This is what you need for the new brake sections of the DMBS.

Complete so far with unaltered BS bodyshell for comparison.

If you are careful with the saw cuts all the bodyside furniture remains intact.

I will keep the updates coming, it is quite an easy conversion to do and you don't have any hinges to doto finish it.

Cheers for now, Ian

Hi Mark,

I have done another one since and on the second one I used the Replica powered chassis mounted in one of the trailer coaches. This gives the advantage that you can use a close coupling mechanism on the DMBS should you require it.

Cheers for now, Ian
