Heard from Model Rail yesterday that the 2-8-2 will feature in the next issue!

What a fantastic model of a proposed locomotive. Can't wait to see her in there (in three months due to slowness of distribution...my 'new issue' is #165 February 2012!)

 

Would love to see this next to 71000, a Britannia and a 9F for comparison

well, I could do it, although my Brit is an early Triang/Hornby and the 9F is either again a first release Evening Star or a Crosti ;)
