Presented by The Exmoor Coast Railway Modellers, the show is held in a bright, modern venue, adjacent to Minehead station right on the seafront. There will be hot & cold food/drinks available all day, plus parking right outside (Pay & Display) and free parking in surrounding streets. The West Somerset Railway is also holding its annual Steam Fayre on the same weekend, so there is a great deal to attract enthusiasts.

    • Mendip 2019
      By John P.,
A very mixed show with several scales and prototypes shown. Unfortunately Hook Basin had to cancel on Friday morning.
Still a good show. Excellent refreshments, easy parking what more could you want? Unless you were expecting any OO stuff,
      there wasn't any!
I enjoyed being  a part of this show exhibiting Burnham.

    • ALSRM Annual Show
      By Donw,
I have rated this based on last year so anyone knows it should be worth going to. I will update it tomorrow after the event although that will be too late to help anyone. The event always has some excellent layouts and there is a good range of trade stands for 7mm and larger. If you are looking for boxshifters of 00 stuff forget it. but there are some good traders there.

    • Railex 2019 Model Railway Exhibition
      By Kingzance,
It has been some time since I last went to an exhibition and this one, whilst more than an hour away from me with no direct public transport route available, offers a wide range of suppliers / trade stands and some of the layouts that I have found inspirational from the modelling press. Not being as large as Warley, I feel it will be much more "do-able" in one full day whereas anything larger and you feel you have missed part of it. I will be ordering bits from a few suppliers (Alan Gibson, Green Scene, ModelU at least) in advance so I can pick up my needs on the day.
    • Guildford 'O' Gauge Group open day
      By paftrain,
For some unknown reason it has appeared on the wrong day! It should read 7th April NOT 9th. Could mods please correct this?
    • The 6th Chris Kedgeley Memorial Skills Day
      By NorthHighlander,
An excellent day. I was invited late to attend as a demonstrator and I didn’t get much chance to look around which is a very positive thing. I took along one board from Tregaron Upper plus the fiddle yard. The TU board is 41 years old and at the end of the day I ran the first loco on it EVER! Thanks to Jim’s Summers, Mackenzie and Pairman and Richard Chown for helping me. Got home at midnight 50 and crashed out on Sunday!
