About Me

Hi, I've been an active modeller in the hobby for 56 years now.

I have worked in OO then EM then P4

Had a dabble with N gauge in the 1970's but it wasn't for me so went back to OO.

In the 1980's I moved up to 7mm/O gauge for about 5 years and bult a garden line.

Moved to another part of the country (still here) in 1998 and went back to OO where I happily remain.

Buy and run RTR, superdetail and re-spray RTR, chop up and modify RTR, build all types of kits, Scratchbuild what I want but cant buy, turn my own replacement wheels for old Lima diesels and re-motor them, build and operate layout at home and exhibitions and generally do a great variety of modelling but most of all enjoy this wonderfull hobby of ours.

Worked on the railway for years and am active in railway preservation.
