  1. Some recent additions to the fleet 4 class 47's ,apologies for lack of posting been busy with new job and recently in the process of moving house
  2. Finally got around to setting up my youtube channel
  3. Lock down part 2 been having a running session on the layout. Jobs to do : 1) touch up the front of the layout with a fresh coat of paint. 2) add a extra support to the lighting pelmet. 3) work on two new baseboards for fiddle yards. 4) laminate uk model shops elayout sheet.

  6. The first day i ever operated kirkbridge was at john bunyan school at the kempston & district model railway society exhibition in 2002 . The layout was two years old then .

Apologies for the late reply ,Yes that is correct my friend who owned the layout before i took ownership models BR Blue 1970's era i will attach some photos that i took when i went to a couple of shows with my friend , it had been sitting in his shed for several months before deciding to sell it , all being well now the vaccinations are being rolled out i'm hoping when normality resumes bring it out on the exhibition circuit under new ownership.

Finally got around to setting up a individual page for Kirkbridge Description: Kirkbridge depicts a small through station capable of holding a single DMU or a 2 coach DMU or EMU, main operating area is the small diesel depot and holding sidings for a few wagons the refuelling road can just accommodate a 2 car Thumper 205 DEMU. Nearly all the locos and stock are ready to run items, which are being detailed and weathered as time permits Exhibitions to date as of 1st March 2008 Cheltenham, April 2007 Northampton, 2008 Tadrail, 2007 East Anglian Model Railway Show, 2007 Cheltenham, October 2004 Stowmarket, 2004 Lavendon, 2003

  14. Yes indeed have had the pleasure of operating this layout with my friend at several exhibitions over the last few years and with a change of scale I jumped to purchase it needs a bit of TLC to a few bits doing but nothing major.

  18. Cutting and modifying two second hand Hornby HEA wagons to nuclear flask barrier wagons work made so far on the project Inspiration taken by Bradwell point that I saw at Milton Keynes Great Electric Train Show last year
  19. First two baseboards with their Cork underlay down. Then to lay down the track as these two boards will be the easiest to wire up first
