  1. I would recommend sticking the base down to the template with PVA and let it set. Then you can trim it with a blade around the base. It should hold its shape then.
  2. Hi Guys, I've finished off the EM Gauge A5 kit, took some pics this afternoon. Just need to make the template for it now, hope to have it listed later this evening :) The Single Slip in 00 Gauge is complete, I just need to take photographs of for both the website and assembly instructions. Hope to have it online by next weekend.
  3. I just chose it quickly for this screen grab..lol I'ld like to produce a 9ft-4 and 9ft-5 as well as an A5. Should cover all bases :)
  4. I will be releasing an A5 turnout which is propably about the tightess radii you want to go to, to be honest.
  5. Thanks for sharing, it looks great as does the entire formation! Finished up CAD on the EM Gauge A5 and 00 Gauge Single Slip: I'm part way through building them up to take photos for the website and also instructions for the single slip. Unfortunately, me and my wife have both picked up Covid last few days. We are both tripple jabbed but it's the first time we've had it and it's knocked us for six, so will add a few days delay...
  6. I spent much time experiementing with colour pigments to add to the resin to get what I would call "Quaffable Colour". Man if I spent as much time in CAD as making silly QC references, I might actually get something done :D Time for bed....
  7. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! I got this far with the CAD and realised I've set to 1in6 instead of 1in7... GGGRRRRRRR!!!!!
  8. Hmmm, after the RMweb 'disaster' and the forum coming back online, I had gone and re uploaded missing images to my previous posts in the thread. Now today I see the images are gone again? Anyone had this issue on newly uploaded pics? Currently sitting here working on the CAD for the 00-SF 1in7 Double Slip...
  9. Hi Martin, They are branded Finetrax, only members can purchase from the respective society shops. They will be available to non members once listed on my website. Members get a slight discount for buying them from the society shop. There maybe the opportunity for non members to purchase at shows, but you would need to check with the societies on that.
  10. The 2FS and 3mm kits are currently only available directly from the respective society shops. I will be adding them to my website in due course, just busy with other items/orders right now
  11. I agree. I really do like the look of real wooden timbers, especially the way the paint and weathering soaks into them creating a nice realistic matt look. I did a few of these in 2mm Finescale years ago, and they looked great. I think it was walnut sheets, if I remember. Maximum respect to those that use this method!
  12. Thanks, Jack! I'll look into the 3 way after previously said kits. I've already made one in N Gauge
