  1. Hi Mike, Please check one of my older posts: You will certainly need to cut the webbing.
  2. Hi Jonathan, They are the older style kits, the EMGS is currently working on listing the newer style, so it would be best to contact them for details.
  3. I'll be working on the bullhead range this year (in 6 different gauges, mind!) so flat bottom will be something I wouldn't be looking into until 2023, sorry.
  4. Oh, it's for filing the V's, not switch blades?
  5. Nice, show some photo's on how to use it
  6. Hi Guys, Sorry for the long wait, but I've finally got stock built up for the new 4mm 'All Rail' style of Finetrax turnout kits. I've been a little delayed working on orders from the 2mm and 3mm scale Association/Society, but I've also been working on stock for the 4mm EM/00/00-SF kits this week: Guys, these are now back online and ready to order. I'm still working on video instructions so I've made some temporary instructions here: https://www.britishfinescale.com/v/vspfiles/pdfinstructions/Standard Turnout Instructions.pdf EM Gauge: https://www.britishfinescale.com/product-p/finetrax-em-b7.htm 00 Gauge: https://www.britishfinescale.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=finetrax-00-b7 00-SF: https://www.britishfinescale.com/product-p/finetrax-00sf-b7.htm Still time to order before xmas The design change really set me back, but I'm so glad I made this decision, and now I can plough forward for 2022! Diamond crossing next for January!
  7. Yes keeping up with the N Gauge stuff, but I'm sure it will get busier once I upgrade them to the new kit style. They are still on the old style of cutting chairs from sprues and inserted into the holes
  8. Hi Guys, I did some CAD work last night on the middle section of an EM double slip, I really wanted to see what it looked like! Not bad for a first CAD revision, I think!
  9. Bob, The pictures are looking fab, and your diamond looks very skilfully assembled, well done mate! Working in the background Currently doing a large batch of the new 'All Rail' kits for both the 2mm Scale Association and the 3mm Scale Society. Should be getting the new updated 4mm kits back in stock and online early December
  10. I knew you would pick up on that I've done this on purpose as it was a convenient way of labelling the parts with the least amount of terms, due to the design of separate rails at the knuckle. So I'm labelling in favour of the kit and the way it's put together, it's deliberate
  11. Hi Guys, I thought I would share what I've been working on the last week or so, it's the first four video instructions for assembling a Finetrax Standard Turnout Kit. The intro is not completely finish as I need to insert clips of the build once I reach the end of filming everything. Please let me know what you think so far: Introduction and overview: Included in the Kit: Tools and Materials Required: Anatomy of a Turnout: So thats 4 sections done, below are all the sections: It's really slow going, but I'm glad I've got the 'Anatomy of a Turnout' video out the way, it was no doubt the hardest one to do. Should flow easier from now...
  12. Yes eventually. Everything has been pushed back a little while I work on the new video instructions.
  13. Thanks Martin, you always get there before me! British Finescale is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT charged on the sale. But there maybe import duty's to France, which you seem to be aware of.
  14. Hi Guys, 'All Rail' version of the 3mm B6, which replaces the version that uses 'cast' crossings:
