  1. is there a meeting this Saturday 26th September?
  2. Hi Guys Sorry I havent posted for a while, and havent posted any build pics for the corner boards. But whats important is that there is now greenary between my two towns. Theres a slight re-lay of the tracks through Georgetown going on at the moment but this will be going on the left of the corner boards as you can see them in some of the pictures. This will be fed by a FY and then part 5 of the build is to add a creamery to the tracks beyond the grade crossing in Cannondale. Enjoy G
  3. this is really looking good, wish i had that space to set up and build some modules. are you using ply tops or foam?

Yes, come to the dark side. We have cookies.

  5. just sketched a plan for someone O scale 2 rail in 8.5ft x 5ft, quite a challenge!!!
  6. just had another look at your pictures if you make your platform a little shorter you could feed your warehouse from a turnout in front of the depot it would mean a lot less switching in the fiddleyard. A grade crossing would look great especially with a few shop fronts on the street, it will be a nice little layout when you finish. add some utility poles and it would complete the look nicely
  7. cool great idea, have you got any more space length ways or are you maxed out?
  8. looking good, make the baseboards wider 6 inches wider, maybe keep the two spurs at the front but possibly add a freight house served by the one at the back and shorten the front spur and make that a team track. I like the dummy crack but could you incorporate an interchange with what ever other road that is supposed to be. btw the cassettes on Georgetown are 46 inches long. but looking good I am sure it will look as good if not better than Georgetown when you finish look out for the next layout Cannondale the build has now started
  9. i am up for building a few modules but how long have I got before your planning a meet?
  10. What ever it was it looks good, well done
  11. a few o scale 2 rail track plans I have been working on a few o scale 2 rail track plans I have been working on
  12. Hi I have added a sound chip to the gronk. Heres a link to a video of it I uploaded on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K0nz-5Jw6I&feature=youtu.be
  13. Rite well celebrations over i finally got some lining paper and I've been busy making sure we can fit the track plan in the space I've got. Having spoken to a railway man I've decided to have one parcels platform a goods siding and a 2 road stone engine shed, which will be great for idling sound chipped locos. Check out the slideshow of my attempts at full size planning.

    Progress

Here is the final track plan, I've now set aside two weekends in January to knock up the baseboards and our project plan should be appearing here soon. Over Christmas I will be transferring this track plan into full size on lining paper, I've also been busy and got all the track and points. Alf is already thinking about electronics!! Sam has sourced two very useful die cast vehicles and some ballast, all good inspiration. So here is track plan version two, much discussion was had regarding the merits of a goods yard over a engine shed or stabling point. Its been decided that to increase operational interest a goods yard was the best. It should be interesting trying to free up a parcels road to use as a head shunt. Is a goods yard the right thing?? let me know what you think
