So what happened to Syria, the world stock markets, is there a pre-packed take-away brass band concert in Newcastle, has the Waverley route re-opened, has there been a black pudding strike in Oldham, are Welsh motorways still cobbled….?

      so I can spray to get a coat onto the rail side and sleepers, then balast and give a light coat to tone the balast down and get more muck onto the rail sides?

    Modelling disaster appears to have been averted - on saturday I poured a layer of PVA onto the riverbed of the winter scene. By sunday morning the bed itself had buckled so much it looked as if the Severn Bore was in full effect. Thankfully I left it well alone and after four days it seems to be returning to normal.

By sunday morning the bed itself had buckled so much it looked as if the Severn Bore was in full effect. Thankfully I left it well alone and after four days it seems to be returning to normal.

      I might knock up a sample to try, I'm working with plywood so hopefully won't suffer warping as much. Have a canal to do :)

      so do you paint the base of what you're pouring the PVA onto, and do you do it in one pour or do you do it in layers?
