  1. I thought I was safe until I got to the coaches! Lots of MK1s and MK2s to pick up. Some excellent releases. The Regional Railways MK2s are especially welcome, although I'm thinking customisation to Trans-Pennine. The original Provincial 150 is very tempting too. Finally, a regular 47/4 in Large Logo Blue and the first 47/4 in BR Blue. They were a long time coming and I'm sure they'll be very popular.
  2. Actually I just noticed the last email from Revolution said midnight on 21st. It was Ben's comment above saying midnight tonight (22nd) that threw me. Ah well, I guess it is too late to get the discount. I'll be ordering four anyway!
  3. The discount code I was given for the Sturgeons when I recieved my IZAs does not work. Should that still be working today? Also, the price has already gone up to £35 so it appears we don't have until midnight tonight. Can this be fixed and extended for 24 hours?
  4. So the 2018 new 47s are almost into 2020 and no sign of the announced 31s at all. The question is whether another Christmas will pass before the MK2 aircons and DBSOs hit the shelves!
  5. There is no 'no doors' version bing produced in Olive Green, as far as I know. Only black, gulf red and CE yellow. Doors versions will be black, olive and CE Dutch.
  6. Really hoping to see an APT-P in N Gauge and this is surely the only chance.
  7. I have just ordered 2 from a well known north west box shifter. I went for the 'Croft Junction' in Indian Red and a Civil Engineers Dutch version.
  8. These look superb. I will certainly be buying a few, mainly in red/grey but I'll take at least one each of the other two as well.
  9. I will be ordering 4 or 5 shortly. I know the Gulf Red was a short-lived late 60s livery and probably couldn't be seen into my era (80s), but are there any photos out there of Sturgeons in this livery? I checked Paul Bartlett's site but couldn't see any in this livery. There were many filthy ones with no discernible livery, of course!
  10. No mention of the announced 31s or 47s. I was hoping to get Railfreight Grey 47018 this year. I wonder when these will see light of day.
  11. It will be a difficult choice between the blue and red Midland versions. Excellent choice of model.
  12. What are the chances of one in Rail Stores green/grey livery too?
  13. This is a surprise yet very welcome announcement. I definitely fancy a few of the VEAs and a couple of IPAs. The 128 will be hard to resist too. Regarding the tank containers, what would be the earliest any of these liveries would have ran? Would any be appropriate for the original PFA version?
  14. Expressed interest for a 14-car set again. Hope it comes to fruition.
  15. Sorry for the bump, but is anyone able to share any photos of any of the blue/grey MK2s with the Trans-Pennine branding? I don't have access to the 'British Rail MK2 Coaches' book, unfortunately.
  16. I will be ordering one in Dutch as it fits my era. I will also order the black 'Croft Junction' example, purely for local interest since I am from Darlington. What is the latest period the latter is likely to have existed in that guise?
  17. I'll certainly be taking 3 or 4 of these in olive and Dutch. Excellent choice of wagon.
  18. I am happy if my 14-car set becomes what Snowwolflair describes above, or a similar concept. I can live with a few less bells and whistles if it will make the project happen.
  19. I thought already ordered some but just checked and I hadn't. Last minute order for four original livery versions just placed!
  20. I ordered the 14-car set. Fingers crossed it hits acceptable numbers to go ahead. I feel this is our only chance for what will be an iconic model.
  21. I would absolutely love 47475 with a rake of Trans-Pennine stock. I suggested the stock (at least) to C&M models a couple of years ago. My feeling though is that Farish are far more likely to produce RR MK2s only, which would require a partial respray and rebranding to Trans-Pennine. A limited run including 47475 would be superb.
  22. I'd certainly go for that in original IC Swallow livery. That was my spotting era.
  23. That'll have to be your 2019 wishlist, as the 2018 announcement was last week.
  24. Best not mention the InterCity FK! Plenty of those available, I imagine.
