  1. Hmmm i didn't know this! Well my mate screen shotted a few wagons out of Dave's book so i'll have a look in comparison as theres a cement bogie hopper / Clyde Cement in PDH's book so i'll check sizes. Thanks chap.
  2. Thankyou Mark, if i'd looked properly on there website i'd of noticed this! / Must stop searching for info at 4am in the morning! I've found loads of interesting wagons on there including Aggregates hoppers thou haven't seen the Bardon jobby? But will search through each document again as i've found a ECC Quarrries JGA style hopper which i think will be easier for mr basic builder here to try and make up. Thanks again.
  3. Sincere apologies Paul, i did not mean it to come across like that! I'm very sorry if i upset you I'm just a skint modeller and was hoping someone on here could help! I'm very frustrated with life issues at the minute with death and problems and i just hoped doing a bit of plasticard learning may keep my mind of it all! Many thanks again for the measurements and taking your time to do this for me chap it is very much appreciated. Kindest Regards Rich P.S only bought the books cheap / second hand and yup no use, lovely pics in one of them like but the measurements whats of them in the other books are all RTR Wagons! Doh...
  4. Hi Mark, no relation / resemblance atall chap between the two wagons as you say! I merely asked about the Potash as i've not got anywhere wat so ever with the Bardon Hopper that was all, no diagrams nor measurements so thought i'd try another wagon to see if anyone could help with that? I've now bought a good variety of wagon books and i'm awaiting arrival hopefully next week? As tbh i'm not buying a downloaded pic on the pretence that it has full wagon measurements along the chassis in the picture, heres hoping these books may have something in if not they'll have others and i'll scrap the above two ideas working on plenty of others i do have measurements for 4 now anyways fela. PDHDrawings did have some on that auction site but then when i went to buy the scaled down in measurements wagon books they'd dissapeared??? So i checked on his site but none of the wagon variety on there either! Luckilly my friend has PDH's P Coded book and that has a good few in so i can choose some of those atleast and for now email PDH and see if he can send me some of the other coded ones out. Cheers
  5. Can't make it out on my PC Paul unfortunately is there anything to do with the measurements on the pic or your others and do you have any details on the length of the Bardon Hopper please chap? Best Regards Rich
  6. Hello Brian ah you get the senior moments too lol on the old mags yeh i had tons kept buying them from fairs and open days yrs ago but i just threw the lot as felt my man cave ceiling was gona fall through and leave wifey covered in books / mags in the lounge! Hehe wish i'd not now but if you remember it that would be excellent and i'd then start to search the net for it! Cheers Rich
  7. Hello Ben and thankyou for your reply thats much appreciated, I'm sure one of my modelling friends may have gimp software so i'll get asking as i do have a few pics on file and theres some good ones on the net & Paul's site also. The Hexagonal's yes i would like to incorporate that in to the chassis would add that nice extra touch and i don't fancy geting my little L shape files and doing each hole that way! I will now look at the pics in detail with a magnifying glass and see if infact there is details regarding there length and dimensions as you say its worth a closer look! On the pics unfortunately Paul's are to small but there appears to be some wheelbase dimensions and others here! http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/potashpba/h376fce06#h376fce06 This pic shows details i noted, Bogie wheelbase inner 35.3 would this be the feet between the bogies on the wagon do you know chap? https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue-diesels/3888938265/sizes/o/ Kindest Regards Rich
  8. Does anyone know if the Cleveland Potash PBA Hopper sits on a twin V Cement Tank bogie chassis or is it a TEA chassis in length? Could be neither but surely its worth asking on here! Link to wagon here https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue-diesels/10051176406/in/photolist-gjbUyW-gjciBB-6VDPRK
  9. Hi Wild Boar Fell is there any chance of still producing this chassis? I can't find it for sale on your website still chap? Cheers.
  10. Hello Grizz, must i say excellent work and pics i love anything & everything scratch built thou i'm not that good yet i try on smaller things and see how i get on. Its the build that i get enjoyment out of so i have loads of wagons with finished bodies / chassis's but no small details lol i'll get round to finishing the majority one day. But 1st i'd like to cast the main body in resin so i have a little rake of my chosen stock but that again i'm new too and don't want to start mixing and pouring away till i know what i'm doing? Anyways on the JRA Box Wagon is it the T.R Decals your after? As Precision Labels / Decals does this pack if so https://www.flickr.com/photos/httpwwwpeakdaleworkscom/10443744856/sizes/l Thanks Rich P.S that Bible you have doesn't by any chance have Bardon JGA / PHA Hopper wagon measurements in does it?
  11. Hi Kelly, Cheers i'll have a dig on the net, i have looked at books on Ebay and so on but none actually say if theres drawings for the JGA Bardon in? One does have a pic of the hopper on the front thou but thats useless as i have pics from all angles already! Cheers.
  12. Hi Jo, Yes i have got a file full of pics of both types which i've built up but don't want to proceed cutting plastcard just by guessing judging of the pics i have, on the diamond version i'm hoping theres some kind of strip with this mould incorporated in to it or something like as i'd love to model that type but otherwise i'll be doing the none diamond strip version first
  13. Hi gents, i'm looking for details on the Bardon Aggregates Hopper Wagon to model them in 4mm. Does anyone know of a website or book with scale measurements in / on so i can get the size right? Link to wagon below. http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/bardonpha/h3b9323ac#h3b9323ac Thanks Rich
  14. Hello all, i've recently purchased some of John Pecks excellent Class 37 Air Horns and thought to add them here as there a great little item and after contacting Bachmann a few times they simply can not do them as spares! With the plastic moulded ones been so brittle they easilly snap and i've bought many a 37 of auction sites with these missing or broken so a nice new addition for those wanting better looking or even to repair / replace the broken, missing horns on your OO Gauge Model. They are also available in 7MM for the O Gauge modeller aswell Edit.... John's are the ones on the left with the hollow inserts! Bachmann are in the middle and Vi-Trains are the biggest chunkiest horns on the right. Heres the link to his new horns ordering page for anyone needing them and i've also attached a pic below. http://www.precisionlabels.com/k18.html Thanks.
  15. Really liking these Jon, the resin bodies look well smart! Hopefully i can take a few sets of you as per our messages Cheers
  16. Hi Mike, i'd be wanting some unsure on numbers yet thou? I do still have a good mix of Appleby bogies including these listed as i was going to use them on my Sheerness Steel bodies but i sold them on! Also of note are the Gloucester GPS Bogies another style i'm unaware anyone has done barring those small dodgy things Genesis do! And now with Appleby doing transfer packs only i'm kinda stuck on the things i wanted to do as those needed GPS on them but i'm all out of those particular ones after just finishing a bogie tank off. Thanks Rich
  17. Could be a while till we see the CO2 then ay Hugh! Atleast thats Beefy BR proper days... this modern stuff N.R GB DBS etc... i just don't see the bigger market for that thou it offers something different to the modern image fans
  18. Good evening Hugh, ok cheers for the heads up all sounds great and wish i could help on the N.R Wagons but way past my modelling era i'm afraid and i never even saw yellow ones tbh! But the Dutch & Railfreight are lovely i have plenty of both types
  19. Many thanks Kev looks the dogs that does! Nice other shots too, i'd never thought of puting different bogies besides the smaller GPS on Warflats do you have pics of these wagons with the y25c and Gloucester old bogies on also the builder of the tank does he do commision wagons atall?
  20. Looking good chap, i've also expressed my interest and pre ordered some Redland PGA's
  21. Happy New Year Kev, any more close up pics of the white TDA atall chap? I've got tons of bogie tanks here in one form or another modfified still not finished also and would like to see this orange striped model please
  22. Hello Kevin, yes indeed heavy looking piece of kit and very beefy too! Hours of fun like you say. Also great video Nigel complete with Salmon's, i witnessed both types of crane in operation near me lifting track sections and other parts one night years ago was very interesting to watch also Happy Christmas and all the best gents.
  23. Grreat updates as usual aren't the Cranes an excellent piece of kit! Suitable for any layout and get everyone asking were they from who made that.... i also have both Jon @ Peakdaleworks made both up and painted / weathered them up for me also there my favourite piece of stock! Heres the YOB he did before i sent back and asked for weathering too Thanks.
  24. I heard they'd took delivery of a sample from someone on Facebook? Must of been end of platform talk as surely they'd of posted pics here....unless it was littered with errors like what "pharrc20 pointed out above!
