The Quirky Poll 2020
Hello everyone
We ran the first Quirky Poll in conjunction with our friends Andy York & Phil Parker of RMweb last year and many of you found it to be just what we intended… ‘a little bit of Christmas fun’!
You will find below a list of 25 items – many of which are your suggestions – each with a link to a photo and/or further detail. The ‘actual Poll’ can be accessed via the usual banner headline entry at the top of the page (Andy will load that during the afternoon if not already there).
You may tick as many items as you like, but – although this is ‘Christmas fun’ – they must be items that you would realistically wish to buy if they were ever made (as you used to do with The 00 Wishlist Poll) – it is not to decide ‘the quirkiest’.
Within the 25 items we have re-listed two of The Top 3 from last year. We also listed Rocket last year – the top-voted item – and that was subsequently introduced by Hornby.
We won’t say what it is for fear of ‘influencing’ you, but we have specifically listed one item on behalf of our one-time team-mate, Glen Woods, who sadly passed away in November. We know he would have loved to see it in – it really is quirky!
OK…stop working and get quirking! You have until 21.00 on Wednesday 30 December 2020 to vote. We aim to publish the results in the usual Poll Team format as soon as we can on 1 January 2021 – look for the title: Results – The Quirky Poll 2020.
Merry Christmas and a Safe & Happy New Year to you all!
The Poll Team
