    Where's a good place to get fibre crank pin washers? I've successfully got the Tri-ang Romford wheel conversion but I need to insulate the side rods as they cause a bit of a short with the wheels when fitted. Must be able to fit the crank pins for chassis R.052, R.058

      I don't know where you are but I have a pack of Romford crankpin washers, mixed brass and fibre. Assuming you're using Romford crankpins(?) probably available from markits

    57 minutes late from Leeds on the late running 16.38 to Hull. No driver and a fatality at Selby were the reasons given. I don't know when or if I will get to Beverley!

    Got offered £40-50 for the Bachmann 170 that I am thinking of selling. Not a chance I'm afraid...

      They must have changed their outlook then, last year I know of somebody who was offered £1500 for a complete collection including 70 mostly new boxed and chipped locos, over 50 nearly new coaches, umpteen wagons, track, DCC system, etc.
