What colour(s) did you use?...and did you apply to a wet or dry surface?

How do you get on with the S&Ws? So far so good for me but interested to hear how others do..

I've found with 3d prints I tend to use rather more airbrushing than normal for the reasons you outline....pigments are very "unforgiving....

I'm inclined to agree, I'm wondering if I can find a way to model the end wall and some of the 'outhouses' to give me two distinct 'photo locations'

Double sided viewing? End wall with door as central feature. Interior wall at right angle on one side - the rendered wall on the opposite side.

It would be nice to keep a bit of that in laid track, render, corrugated and vegetation outside the door...even if only a short run...

Best wishes in your job.
I shall read the magazine with interest. I helped Stan Roberts with his Bakewell in the 1970s at the Merseyside Model Railway exhibition when I was a lad and my own 7mm layout is called Bakewell Street in his memory. I have tracked down all the Railway Modellers that had his articles on the layout.

Pigments only or are washes and airbrushing involved? I have a green one to do....

Agree about the catering - even a sandwich on Saturday when we were the only people in the cafe took forever....and their publicity could have been much improved I think..I sense they are - in common with many similiar operations - struggling for volunteers
