Don't tell me they lost ~15,000 orders because they have an old version of excel?!
I suspect even Peco are more up-to-date than that....

What about the athern jeeps, ive found some very nicely priced ones on the ellis clark website
There are many types of Athearn GPs from Bluebox upwards....I've had one or two issues with their early Genesis sound locos..
-
There are plenty of downloadable pdfs etc and if it goes to plan (.....and its a big "if"...) the Zooms will be available after the event on the main website.
Thanks for the interest.

Can't speak for the GP38-2 but I have one each of their HO "sound value" S4s and GP7 and both are decent "middle of the road" models and runners.

Planned to be a straight replacement for DSS stockwise but in an urban setting with some shorter NPCS stuff available as well.

What? Another one! Wow - you're keeping busy mate....
Where are you getting all this time for modelling? Don't tell me - It'll only make me jealous! lol
Somehow, I found time to build 4 layouts, and start a fifth - all within a two year period... somehow ha ha
Alas, that was some years back now - perhaps I felt younger then?Looking forward to seeing this one progress too @Gilbert Although it'll probably be finished by the time I've typed this reply
Marc- sadly all I've done is paint a (plain) backscene and start a bit of wiring...the plan is to assemble as many bits as possible before the big push rather than do little jobs along the way..
I have however been experimenting with card for structures though...a trial build of some downloaded Scalescenes retaining wall..

Mech Models or Model Junction if they are still open. I think Gaugemaster are a Walthers dealer as well.

I've subscribed for the last year or so with no significant delays or issues.

Thanks, that is similar to what I use in 4mm so will just upscale what I have today I think although I like Andy's solution
I tend to keep RTR locos in their manufacturer's boxes - fewer of them than with 4mm so not as onerous to unpack at exhibitions and probably safer...they have a lot of mass when they hit the floor.....don't ask me how I know...
With kit built stuff such as Connoisseur 4f or JLTRT 22 I have previously invested in Parkside Arts individual boxes and while I don't think they are available any more other suppliers do something similar. Given the value of the locos I don't think the extra cost is too much...

If the gentleman knows a perfect way to disguise baseboard joints, perhaps he could share it with the rest of the world in the form of an article in MRJ......

Mr Bennett finishes with some helpful criticisms of CF: “It is totally sterile and thus unconvincing. The scenic areas are too tidy, the street scenes are devoid of population, the baseboard gaps are ugly, the buildings are too uniform in build and colouration and the ballast is too clean.” I’m not sure if these are born out by the evidence from the pictures in the article, but we do need more animal droppings on the roads, one could use ruder expressions...
Tim
If he put that statement on FaceBook they'd flag it as untrue..........

They're still conducting sea trials to check for leaks. POW is a provisional name that stands for Put On Wellies.
Would they be Wellies from the Queen?

What exactly are you asking about them?
I'm interested in how easy they are to work with, how they take paint and weathering , how they look and how robust they are once in place.
