Hope to see you at our show where all 12 layouts can be seen in their full glory. www.sdrmweb.co.uk/Scarborough_Show.php -

We're looking forward to exhibiting Yorkshire Pennines back in its home town. There still aren't that many computer controlled layouts on the exhibition circuit. But it's noticeable how many questions we now get about adding this new dimension to the hobby. Roland -

Possil Halt is also making its show debut this weekend. Currently, the team are on with making last minute adjustments (why is this so often the case?). Looking good for the weekend though. Everything else is in place. Even the weather forecast is good. -

Exhibition cancellations (not much to do with that anymore!)
computrains replied to AY Mod's topic in Exhibitions
Members of Scarborough & District Railway Modellers have unanimously decided to postpone our Pickering Exhibition, due to be held this August, until next year. We cannot see how we can hold an exhibition while keeping our members, exhibitors and visiting members of the public safe. This is disappointing for all BUT we sure you understand our concerns...... Hope to see you on the other side..... -

Hello all, I’ve an unusual situation. When testing a section of track (actually a point frog), the meter reads 15.9vac. Put a loco on that section of track and it’s dead. Not a short, just no power. Meter reads less than 1vac while loco is on the track. Lift the loco and 15.9vac returns. Can anyone tell me what could be happening please? Roland

Hello Banburysaint. There is on street parking but it is limited. Parking can usually be found in NYMR car park. Their station is just around the corner from the show venue. Co-op and Lidl supermarkets also have a car parks. They are both within short walking distance. Don't forget to come and see us (Yorkshire Pennines) while at the show. We're on the top floor. Roland
