  1. Same here - heard this earlier today and it stunned me. I'll be donating via. the JustGiving site tomorrow morning.
  2. Apologies for asking so many questions! It sounds as though it would be reasonable to run a 2d TSO and a 2f version in the same rake. What was the situation with BSOs af far as you're aware? Presumably a 2d version would be more accurate in a rake which already includes 2 2fs (FO and TSO)?
  3. Might I ask, for clarity, whether you're saying that the TSOs were 2d or 2f, please? I have Hornbu 2d TSOs and a BSO, but will I need to replace them with the Bachmann 2f versions for accuracy?
  4. Thanks. Rather a contrast - ex-Airfix for the BFK, new Bachmann for the FO, and Hornby 2d TSOs.
  5. Do we know if Bachmann are producing the BFK or the FK?
  6. I take it that Mk 2f RFBs, as modelled recently by Bachmann, weren't used on the ECML in this period?
  7. Indeed. They need at least 5 days to make a reasonable attempt with baseboards of that size.
  8. I ordered an LNER example, but, sadly, one of the smokebox door clasps is broken-off, so I'll be emailing tomorrow to arrange a replacement (if there are any left).
