  1. Couple of images below showing the Revolution Class 59 and other manufacturers Class 66 for colour comparison purposes.
  2. I unexpectedly found DH8 88 at the Royal Gun Powder Mills, Waltham Abbey, with a matching guard van, hope the pictures are of interest.
  3. Not the best picture, hopefully of interest though.
  4. I'm trying to get a new (to me) LH01 ready for a firmware upgrade using the Lenz CV Editor and the datefile set. How do you ready the controller, which button do you hold down when plugging in the USB cable? I know with the LH101 you press down the knob while plugging in the USB cable.
  5. Looking for any wagons split from this set. Also the class 03 in good condition.
  6. Hi Rob, That's great - I've sent a private message. Regards, R..
  7. Special edition from a couple of years ago, please let me know if you have one that's no longer required. Thank you, R..
  8. I've had a Lenz LH101 controller develop a fault. When plugged into to the controller, the screen lights up but doesn't show any messages on the display. I've updated the firmware, I get messages showing the update status, when I try plugging into the controller I get the same lit screen with no messages. I've tried a spare controller and that works fine, I've tried a wireless unit, again no issues. Am I missing anything or is it time to return it?
  9. Thank you for the links, managed to get one on order, hoping Royal Mail play ball now. 😬
  10. I'm trying to get hold of a DCC Sound Linda with Tender (391-130SF), can't seem to track any down, have they sold out already?
  11. Hi, I had the same thought. I emailed Bachmann and was told that it is not possible. I've since purchased a couple of the new DCC ready 08's, there is a difference to the chassis but the screws appear to line up for mounting the body although I haven't checked this. I've decided to hard wire a decoder instead.
  12. Thanks for your response, I think I'll do the same, fingers crossed there's a spare.
  13. I've got a new Class 50 with a windscreen that's fallen out. Is the cab glued in place?
  14. Fortunate to collect my 320/321's from the Post Office this morning after missing a delivery yesterday (Sunday!) Very impressed with the packaging and units, my thanks to the Revolution Trains team!
  15. If you log into the Collectors Club website, goto "My Account" you will see your order listed, open the invoice PDF and it shows the courier/Royal Mail option. My order for DLG shows Royal Mail 2nd class, unfortunately no tracking information. My order was placed on the 23rd November, fingers crossed it arrives soon!
  16. The Bachmann Collectors Club Fairlie is now showing as "in stock". https://www.Bachmann-collectorsclub.co.uk/category/collectors-club/oo9
  17. Just like to add my thanks to Russell and the KS Models Team for sorting me out with some track and other essentials to start my new lockdown layout - all delivered Saturday afternoon!! Great service and pleased that I can support my local model shop in these interesting times, thanks Russell!!
  18. Thanks for the feedback RFS, I'll check my setting then. I've got a Lenz 23151 which I'm trying to connect to through the LAN port. At the moment I cannot connect. I've checked connections with the CV editor program, that works fine.
  19. I've just received my new LZV200 from Lenz. I use Traincontroller Silver, I'm unclear on whether I need the Hardware Plus licence for the latest version of Traincontroller? Can anyone help/update me? Thanks
  20. Hi, thanks for the links. I've already purchased an LH101 controller, which is a great piece engineering, so the trade in is the better option for me. Thanks again, R
  21. I've looked on the Lenz website to try and find details on the trade in program but unfortunately I cannot find a link. Would anyone know if the offer is still active? I have an LZV100 unit I'd like to swap. Thanks
  22. So, thought I'd chip my Dapol Northern Cl142 today using the same setup as before, LaisDCC in the dummy and Zimo in the drive unit. Programmed the the CV's as above (after I realised my typo for CV52) checked the lights and function were all OK, then pushed the bodies back on securely. Now I'm not sure if the LaisDCC was playing up as it reset itself to factory default, so I re-programmed, checked, pushed the bodies on a small puff of smoke appeared..... The LaisDCC chip has gone pop, melting the plastic cover. I'll return it to the supplier, but given the cost of locos these days I'll probably steer clear of these for the time being, shame as the price point was great for use in dummy vehicles or as a function only decoder.
