  2. And our bear Brian will have to cover his ears again!
  3. Absolutely criminal however you can only buy a couple of packs of sixteen of paracetomol or ibruprofen each so unless you can get them on prescription in a bottle i dont know. You can buy a bottle of one hundred 75mg aspirin tablets from the USA though, well you could a couple of years ago . Its like rim blocks in Tesco, they used be card backed with recyclable plastic but now they have ditched the cardboard, why?
  4. Little Lies - Fleetwood Mac
  5. Well lucky you, here in NA its been blowing a hoolie all day and just the usual all over grey and not too warm either.
  6. What chassis would this be based on and who made the shell any ideas? This is in Arundel Road Cliftonville Kent circa 1956, the car belonged to a friend of my Dad. The 2nd photo shows me and my mum who would have a go at driving anything.
  7. Were does that come into the equation then, Is it some concentrated high in protein plant food?

  9. Everything that goes in the oven is cooked at 180C
  10. Well to start with she is typical Essex Girl and was complete with miniskirt and platform boots in the 70s. She doesnt do computers or mobiles and after being married to me for over fifty years is completely oblivious to any comment i might make..... however she has a thing about tea/coffee mugs and teaspoons. They have to be collected and washed up and if one should disappear, she thinks i am taking the mickey...........as if i would.
  11. We have one but never used it, seems complicated to me too many buttons, not unlike the Bosch washing machines with so many different settings! Why do we need them, when you wash clothes by hand, you dont use a thermometer to check water temp, all too fussy.
  12. And the worst i have found are carrots! Tesco were selling mountains of these in plastic bags at 15p a week or so ago. You dont realise that they are 85-96 percent water and most of one bag had already turned to mush after a couple of days. I used to grow all sorts here and my carrots were really tasty and stored well. Most now dont seem to have any or little taste and after washing them i dry with paper towel before storing. and you are lucky if they last a week.
  13. As it is in Newton and got to go out this afternoon over to Totnes where all the arty types hang out to get all the frozen blueberries etc etc for our pain in the butt son. This happens every six weeks doh!
  14. Yes well remembered by Her Ladyship as she lived in Rush Green and worked in Romford. Much changed since the sixties when i first went out with her and looking on YT not for the better.
  15. Packing any vegetable or fruit in plastic bags increases the moisture long before they appear on the shelves let alone when you buy them. Better to store in thick brown paper bag, nowhere near plastic. We always used to buy half a sack and i dont remember any of them going rotten if anything they might wrinkle up like a raisin.
  16. Sleep snug as a bug in a rug!
  17. Really, would have thought it would be like taking a ride on a log flume!
  18. Nite nite from a wet and windy Newton Abbot and just remember that if your nose is running and your feet smell, you're upside down! .
  19. My Room - Van der Graaf Generator
  20. Its hard work on here, like being married!!🙄
  21. Ours is stress as well dealing with an autistic adopted son of forty three with ocd.
  22. You have my sympathy, i have had night sweats for several years now. Combination of low testosterone, 3PD and other issues. I only drink decaf tea and coffee now but sometimes a glass of watered down merlot but it can be debilitating with palpitations as well. I dont think this very unseasonable dreary spring weather helps do you?
