  3. Ref the Amazon Black Friday deals (for info, no extra bargains in this post): Look for all Black Friday Bargains, then select Toys and Games, then sort by price high to low if you wish. So far only the 9F and Terrier show.
  4. Also free delivery and the option to spread into 5 x £19 payments (no obvious catch I can see but can't be sure there aren't any)

  6. I've absolutely no idea how to use parentheses (or brackets for younger viewers and listeners) in search strings. How do you go about it? (Maybe needs a topic of its own?).

  8. Summer/Autumn 1960 was quite eventful. Several No.1’s hit the charts, all of which are still played as classics. I wonder how many 2020 No.1’s will be regarded the same way in 2080? 7 July Good Timin’ Jimmie Jones 28July Please Don’t Tease Cliff and the Shadows 04Aug Shakin’ All Over – Johnny Kidd and the Pirates 11Aug Please Don’t Tease Cliff and the Shadows 2 more weeks 25Aug Apache – the Shadows 29Sep Tell Laura I love Her – Ricky Valance 1st male Welsh singer to have No1 hit (Shirley Bassey had previously hit No.1 being the 1st Welsh person overall)

  17. Tks, am not on FB so can't see it unless it's public.
  18. Overnight Tue/Wed this week we had 6C42 Crewe-Clarbeston Road TnT 56.094/56.302 on a rake of ballast hoppers. I've been here since May 2014 and we've had no 56's save for a LE working to/from Carmarthen once. Looking on the interweb there doesn't seem to be any photos of 56's west of Carmarthen but I've been told they did work oil trains to/from the Milford Haven area. 22. This is my 7th RHTT season here in west Wales and it's always been EWS/DB 66's from Margam as no-one else seems interested in bidding. Am running out of places to phot, so today tried Llansamlet (Swansea). 66.813/186 work 3S62 Margam-Margam.
  23. With the RHTT season underway, you certainly won't see this in 2020 as the Class 20's really have had their final season Choppers to the rescue! by Alan Padley, on Flickr
