Which tender should it be fitted with in BR service

Has anyone had issue with the sound fitting loco just while stationary just start making a high pitch noise.

This is a good think that there will be two good versions of the model meaning there is price competition.

I am building a DJH D1 E1 kit at present and there is no brake gear in the kit for the loco or tender has anyone an idea of a supply where i can get suitable brake gear from.

This livery is suitable to run the loco in 1960s

I do think they do need a lot of time running in mine has improved over time and its haulage capacity is very good

There do seem to be some quality issues mine was a poor runner would just stop for no reason at slow speed and an issue with the centre axel being tight the loco made a high pitched noise and did not go anywhere.

I agree here they did put advert a while ago telling people pre order and beat the prices rises but soon as they got to high they have broken that promise.

I have had the email as well so will be cancelling the pre order when I have checked I can buy it at the same price from my local shop. I am not waiting for more emails in the next few days for more items and the price promise being broken if so all these will be cancelled. I don't think the point that we should be willing to pay any price for these high quality models holds true as raw material and fuel costs are dropping prices are going through the roof. There is no point in high quality models if only a few can afford them.

I will wait until closer the time but will be looking to get from another supplier if available at the same price or maybe wait to see if they sell or they have to be discounted to sell

I have my special edition 1068 at home and wow looks great and runs great as well anybody else had issues with the cab light only one set come on with function 1.

I must say this set is a great model after getting mine from modellers mecca a few weeks ago and pushes wells which was the only think that had worried me about it
