40 something geek girl living in the midlands. Bit mad, but friendly. Interested in a variety of subjects, although primary interest has tended to be aviation (military).

In terms of railway modelling interests, they're primarily Southern Railway/BR Southern Region/LT. Although they can and do span elsewhere if it is a bit oddball and interesting (4DD, Leader).

Other modelling interests nclude cold war and ww2 military and aviation (RAF, Luftwaffe, Soviet and USAAF/USAF).

Outside of model interests, I'm interested in technology, history, gadgets. I'm a massive gadget/game/tech/computer geek. I also have interest in jewellery design (celtic, goth mostly),but haven't really done much with this interest as yet for various reasons.

I'm currently getting myself more acquainted with things like the arduino and have been trying to think of ways to make it useful for model operation as a low cost fun thing to hack about with. I'm interested in using arduino/raspberry pi for dcc/layout control via computer/jmri as well as an EM gauge society member.

I am currently in the final planning stages of an EM gauge BR(S)/NSE layout set around the Charlton/Woolwich Dockyard area of South East London, and area I know reasonably well have grown up in the area and lived there for a time when at University.

Otherwise battling with ill health daily due to suffering from Fibromyalgia. Feel free to say hi if you see me at an exhibition!
