  1. Thanks, mine is fitted with a Loksound - which is explains why I occasionally experience the issue. As Kernow have acknowledged the issue by changing the subsequent models it would be good to have their advice on approved resolutions for those that need it on earlier [email protected] MRC
  2. Is there a Kernow approved method to resolve this. I believe I have an affected loco, but its only a minor inconvenience to me - so not done anything about it.
  3. Out of interest what is the easy amendment? I have two Adams liveried examples (Oxford) that could benefit from being "backdated"
  4. Are you sure that's correct? The pictures look like the earlier mahogany livery that is suitable for the IEG Terriers that Hornby produce. They have a complete aversion to doing any Terriers in umber - so that would be perverse!
  5. Given the popularity of Terriers, Stroudleys must be a likely candidate for a non generic release (ie following Dapol's O gauge lead) by a manufacturer. However this release might reduce the viability of such a venture.
  6. I've done the opposite, ordered the same engine from different retailers. Fortunately noticed just in time, but felt bad cancelling one.
  7. Try this link https://www.amazon.co.uk/Innovateking-EU-Full-range-Portable-Advertising-JST-PH2-0mm-2/dp/B07FT9CFY4/ref=pd_sbs_23_1/259-5283685-2295908?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07FT9CFY4&pd_rd_r=0cc3c498-e54b-4cdd-b6f9-e487275bdee4&pd_rd_w=0KC43&pd_rd_wg=Es3bB&pf_rd_p=2304238d-df78-4b25-a9a0-b27dc7bd722e&pf_rd_r=BD3BFM62CAZRE426PBGD&psc=1&refRID=BD3BFM62CAZRE426PBGD
  8. My DCC fitted Umber Terrier arrived today from Dapol. It runs well and there are no visible gaps between the running plate and cab/tanks. However when I hold up a steel rule a curve can be seen towards the front. I have elected to keep the model as its not noticeable at normal viewing distance and doesnt affect its running. When discussing, with the helpful staff at Rails, about cancelling my order, they advised that Dapol are awaiting a new shipment that addresses the running plate issue. Given that Dapol are now not showing any more stock of my version and an underdetermined wait for rep
  9. In over 20 years of Dapol/Hornby, new Hornby and now Dapol/rails terrier production there has only been two in umber. Hopefully the current Rails product has proved popular to warrant a further variant if and when a new batch is done given there is 25 prototypes to choose from.
  10. If you want the current model, Dapol have them available (both ready and fitted). https://www.Dapol.co.uk/shop/oo-gauge/Steam-Locomotives-OOGauge/A1_A1X. Umber seems to be a Cinderella livery for terriers even though there would have been many more of them, I assume, than the "pretty" liveries that are popular with buyers. I certainly looking forward to receiving mine to replace my venerable original umber terrier (its been residing in Dapol's factory since May waiting for a decoder to be fitted and to be delivered to Rails)
