  2. Thanks, that gives me enough to take a chance on. 2nd LBSC black ordered.
  3. Just repeating a question on the circle Facebook group, is what renumber options are there for this model? If there is another legitimate number for an E1 in this condition it might encourage a few more orders. Me included
  4. I too have applied a little weathering to the roof and underframe. Can't bring myself to do any thing to the crimson paintwork, except a little panel wash around the doors. Fitted passengers and crew, filled up the coal bunkers.
  5. Just noticed that one my O11s has one wheelset spoked and the other is a 3 hole disc wheel. I presume this is an assembly mistake - not especially bothered, but could there be a prototype for this?

  7. yipee Order placed from another Circle member
  8. Out of interest what advantages are there of using the HM7000 app + dongle + Z21 vs Z21 app + Z21
  9. Another option (albeit more expensive, presumes you have the means to get a decoder programmed but perhaps less risky) would be to fit a decoder programmed for DC running and apply the relevant dimming cv changes.
  10. Do we know whether E1s were exclusively repainted into Black from 1905 and Umber, for Goods, was only used at the tail end of LBSC (mid 1921 according to the HRMRS Southern Style).
  11. At the Rapido stand at Warley, the possibility of these going ahead with another commissioner was mentioned, although the one with tooling changes was deemed as less likely (not sure which one that was). If it doesn't then I need to decide whether a black Southern with LBSC transfers plus lining is an option, or modellers licence use of a goods green version into 1918 is the path of least resistance!
  12. I have installed Decoder Pro (and after a battle with my Hornby Elite - it needed a factory reset) have got it working. Following the settings that @Free At Last suggested for his Zimo up the thread, I have successfully dimmed the directional lights without affecting the interior lights. I compared the CVs before and after. Googling "Dim masks", seems to be a means of excluding the effects of changing CV60 from all functions. So on the face of it a suitable solution, but it would be good to have comment from someone who understands the detail. Still puzzled by the Youchoose advice that the dimming of the directional lights cant be achieved and there is an impact that I havent appreciated.
  13. Do you have the Zimo Sound Chip fitted? If so your solution seems straight forward and I just need to get Decoder Pro and get to grips with that.
  14. I am not sure I have seen a post from anyone with the fitted zimo sound chip who has successfully dimmed the directional lights - but happy to be corrected!
  15. Details are in this pdf https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/Service_Sheets/LOCO27743-CertAndQuickRef-KernowSRM.pdf Its published by Youchoos by the look of it, with specific reference on page 3 to the directional lighting.
  16. Can you make a suggestion as to which one - hopefully its one my son-in-law has! I already applied Nuln oil to the lamp body which did a good job of toning the red down.
  17. For those of us with sound fitted zimos (where the supplied instructions say there is no means to dim directional lighting) - any suggestions of a means to at least take the edge off the brightness with say semi translucent paint?
  18. I found refitting the body easier by putting the non engine end in first, slightly offset, then sliding in and down. If that makes any sense!
  19. Out of interest, what paid date are you - so I can set my expectations. I was 5th December 22.
  20. As I am waiting for the sound fitted version, I may have made a rod for own back as I have a set of painted modelu figures to add!
  21. Has anyone enhanced the interior, ie painted the seats. I was going to try and approximate the interior based on the preserved example.
  22. Same here, I guessed its to do with them still sorting out their data import. Although my orders have disappeared like yours, I found them still listed in the chat system under "help with your orders".
  23. My 3 Warwell orders successfully transferred to my new Accurascale account. Has anyone had their P Class order transferred?, mine hasnt - so may still being worked on.
  24. Likewise. Out of curiosity I wonder how long it takes to do each one - they will be doing it their sleep with that number to do!
