I would pay the cost of the set as it is now, say a third of the cost now then the remainder a little later. Great Western -
N Gauge Class 390 Pendolino (post Kickstarter) with Rapido
Great Western replied to Revolution Ben's topic in Rapido Trains
Well it's at £120,000 now, with 11 days to go. I reckon you guys might just get this thing done! However, I've still haven't bit the bullet and pledged, why ? The prospect of having £380 taken in the next three weeks is putting me off. I really want an 11 car unit and wish this project the very very best. Is there anyone willing to pledge for a few extra sets that a 'suitable person' could take a desposit for ? The balance being paid later on ? Great Western -

A selection of pictures from tonight at Westbury Yard. 60076 and 60085. There was a 70 there to, but I didn't catch the number, I wonder why ? Great Western -
Im down for both H1412 and H1415 BR weathered locos. Will the weathering be a usual factory spray with track dirt or a proper covering? Great Western

N Gauge Class 390 Pendolino (post Kickstarter) with Rapido
Great Western replied to Revolution Ben's topic in Rapido Trains
Once the target is reached and the pledges taken where does the money go? How does the money get spent as in is there a bill at the end of the project or a set sum at each defined stage ? Do kickststart hold the funds or are they transfered to a the project leaders bank account Regards Great Western -
N Gauge Class 390 Pendolino (post Kickstarter) with Rapido

Ive just spent the last hour reading thought this whole thread. I wasn't interested to start with, but as each page was finished my mind started playing with the idea of a multi level test track, O/OO and N gauge in the garage. A few questions though, The campaign closes 18/01 I assume now the way things are going the target will be at least met if not exceeded ! So at what point, does the pledge money get taken? I'm looking at a 11 vehicle with sound, not sure on which number Id like yet, I'll need to look see what appeals. If I choose for example 105 do,I get 105 etc ? Also I'd be very interested in a promotional livery version, at what point do you decide if you will produce one? Regards DCC control can I use the same controller for three different scales at the same time ? As long as each loco has a different address of course. Looking at pledging later in the week for a sound x11car..ive never even considered N before but as I used to work with the 390s this struck a cord! Great Western -
Does anyone have a email address for them? I've no phone signal at the moment, so email is the only option. Regards

Confirmed via Dapol the Terriers are being delayed, livery samples aren't approved yet. So Jan/Feb 2015 is the new delivery date. Great Western

How to secure your motors to the underside of the point ? I've clipped mine in the slots but they're still quite lose? Also could you advise what the two wires to the Y end of the point are for? I was planning in wiring mine as per my previous OO switches, plastic fishplates on all ends, with a DCC feed to the toe end behind the motor, that was on Electrofrog points. I assume your doing it another way? Regards Great Western

You'll be very pleased with yours if it's anything like the one I saw! Great Western

1361 Saddle tank in O Scale please Great Western

Seeing as the Pillbox thread has been locked, can we please not get this one locked to? The real production item hasn't even hit our shores yet. Lets just wait and see please? For information, I have no dealings or interest in or with Dapol, I'm merely an excited future O gauge trainset player (note trainset, not modeller) who is very much looking forward to playing with a 7 mm scale model that looks like a Terrier to my untrained eye. Kind Regards Great Western.

I'd like to think if I had the knowledge so people on here do about the prototype and the time to write reams and reams of comment, I'd write or email Dapol and Lobby them to incorporate my observations in to the finished model. There is time now to do this for the Class 08 and any new models, or we could just wait and shout from the ring side at every mistake and say how totally the thing is. Great Western

Words fail me, awesome ! Great Western

Personally I see the Dapol o guage range as a kind of Buget range akin to hornbys railroad. It enables people who could never afford o gauge to enter into the scale without £1000s of investment. I'm happy with the open wagons and pill box, I'll looking forward to the terrier. Great Western
