  1. @BenL commented on these a few pages back that he thought Rapido had done a good job of representing them.
  2. Maybe 30A fuse wire would be the better option then.
  3. Look right to me and having used them they are a superb casting easily fitted with the glue of your choice. http://www.lanarkshiremodels.com/lanarkshiremodelsandsupplieswebsite_181.htm
  4. Their steel heads are also always out of stock too.
  5. That's one of the best recreations of the Dean-Churchward brake handle I've seen on a model.
  6. Look out for Andy York's @AY Mod review of these in the May issue of BRM.
  7. Seen on Facebook and we see Grange class 6880 Betton Grange looking splendid in the spring sunshine. A lot of hard work, patience and deep pockets from those involved to get to this point.
  8. Cruel in close up as we now see my old Wrenn loriot with its plough load now tied down using rigging rope. Looking forward to doing something similar with my LMS liveried lowmac when released.
  9. I'm currently working on an old Wrenn model and looking forward to doing something similar on the Rapido lowmac.
  10. The Replica version is the same colour as the Rapido model. Did you see that photo in Google images of one in the siding at Pontypool Road.
  11. A bump for this thread for a video from Sam's Trains I was hoping Bachmann would do another run of these to give another running number but I don't think the first batch has sold out. I agree with his view of the Cromwell tank and would rather the model came without it. Interesting price comparison with the Hatton's/Accurascale warwell.
  12. @Wickham Green too suggested it was a wartime measure and banana traffic specific.
  13. Had an email today advising these are very close to being sent out to customers.
  14. Here's the Rail's link Mike @Coach bogie https://railsofsheffield.com/products/rapido-trains-uk-967210-7-plank-1907-railway-clearing-house-open-wagon-renwick-wilton-co-ltd-devon
  15. It would have been nice to have seen it on some second radius curves though.
  16. A heads up from the Kernow newsletter to say that both bogies are available as separate items now. https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/89421/K9009-Kernow-Models-GWR-Steam-Railmotor-Fishbelly-Bogie
  17. One of Rapido's latest wagon releases struck a chord with me John @checkrail It even has the same running number as the Replica model I have. https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/81540/967210-WSL-Rapido-RCH-1907-7-Plank-Wagon-Renwick-Wilton-Torquay
  18. These are very good and stock a vast range of products for the detailing enthusiast. https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/
  19. If anyone has the detailing pack [pipes and hooks] for the GWR version they are unlikely to use I'd be happy to purchase it off you.
  20. Very tempted by the LMS version now they’re back in stock. Superb value in today’s climate.
