I'd really like to see a range of six-wheeled milk tankers in 4mm scale to the standard that we appear to be in line for from Dapol with the Air Ministry fuel tankers when thy arrive.

I would rather see Accurascale or Rapido tackle these John @Dunsignalling

My reading of that thread is that while bauxite was adopted during the war, the small ‘S’ prefix would have been a post-nationalisation feature.

Some judicious weathering from @toboldlygo will hide that then.😉A photo in the pamphlet that comes with the models also shews a stone liveried 50886 taken in 1938.It has the post-36 style lettering.

4 generations of liveries on our upcoming GWR V14 and V16 vans.
From the top we have 25", then 16" GW lettering, post-'36 and post-'42 GW, followed by BR unfitted freight grey and vacuum-braked bauxite livery.
These colour samples hopefully give a taste of what's to come as the wagons are currently being shipped to the UK.

Talking of Halls and did anyone else see that the owners of 4920 Dumbleton Hall had been sold to Warner's Bros to use in Harry Potter World Tokyo. The last time I saw her was in a right state at Buckfastleigh, so they've done well to get the million pounds reported.
