I've fitted the extra pipes and screwlinks as supplied in the polybag. In my opinion these are cosmetic use only as they are very fragile. Extra close Hunt couplings bring the gap down nicely although a sliver of packing card is necessary to stop the slop in the NEM socket. Here they are behind my replacement Dapol mogul which has had the smokebox door changed to a correct GWR version.

Some judicious weathering from @toboldlygo will hide that then.😉A photo in the pamphlet that comes with the models also shews a stone liveried 50886 taken in 1938.It has the post-36 style lettering.

I'm pretty sure you could run stone and bauxite in the postwar period. @Islesy suggested these for my period and Muz @Graham_Muz would have the stone version.

Excuse the poor camera phone photos but I thought I'd shew you the excellent quality of the packaging for the Accurascale banana vans. These models are really something else indeed. They are superb and look at that underframe detail. More anon.

Another big scoop for you all is that the new build Grange 6880 Betton Grange is to star at the SVR Spring Gala. The SVR are reporting strong ticket sales.

Talking of Halls and did anyone else see that the owners of 4920 Dumbleton Hall had been sold to Warner's Bros to use in Harry Potter World Tokyo. The last time I saw her was in a right state at Buckfastleigh, so they've done well to get the million pounds reported.
