    The fact the black is a satin finish isn’t helping in photos, a lot to be said for the Accurascale matt black smokebox . Weathering of course will change everything.

    Talking of the tender and Dapol have upgraded the top in the sense you can actually fit some fire irons and 'their' unnecessary strengthening rib has been removed.

    A few shots this afternoon of my Dapol 43xx 5320 running in. Looks to be a good one and the coal load came out without a song and dance.

    I have one too and the quality wasn't brilliant. Interesting that Rail's haven't done anymore 3D wagons since, maybe too expensive.

    Bananas seem to be popular at the moment. Interesting that I fitted a crew and passengers to this , something I'm dreading doing with the railmotor.

    Phil @Harlequin I would be tempted to send it back for another , manufacturers won't improve quality control if we accept sloppy assembly.

    Can I ask , maybe @Miss Prism when the GWR moved the lamp iron to the smokebox door. Dapol have chosen not to model this feature although a spare is available without the BR plate.
