Excellent show with some very nice layouts. Treated myself to a couple of bargain priced new locos from Loughborough models plus a book from Grosmont books. Best bit of the day was sausage roll, chips and mushy peas in the cafe.......so yeah, all in all a day well spent. Roll on next year, thanks to all involved.

Great exhibition, just got home. Layout of the day for me was Tonbridge West Yard, nabbed a few much sought after items by myself from Pooleys Puffers too, but best of all was the full english brekky in the canteen......thanks for a great show, all was good and i'll be back next time.

After having to endure my neighbours having a domestic dispute at 7.30 this morning, i'm suddenly reminded of the plus side of living alone.

Has been out on a date today. All went well until we returned to mine for a cuppa and she saw the 'toy train' on the kitchen table. Let's see if she contacts me again.

Last night i had DCC fitted loco's running, tonight i have none.......what went wrong ?

Cleaned the railway room and found 3 pairs of reading glasses !!

It appears that last nights success with the soldering iron was beginners luck......melted more sleepers than soldered droppers tonight.

Just opened my latest Ebay buy, a couple of 'pro weathered wagon'......it appears someone spilt the paint on them.

Just been to see Ken Dodd's stage show, he can still put on a good 5 hour show, even at 88.
