  1. The GER Teak Coaches can be seen at my RMWeb thingy 'C Davy's 7mm GER pre-Grouping Workbench'As posted there the colour is very thinned Phoenix Precision Paints 'LNER Teak' over Halfords Vauxhall Mustard Yellow spray can. The apparent difference in colour between the 6-Wheel Brake Third and the close-up of the clerestory bogie coach is solely due to the overexposure of the negative (yes, it was a negative!) of the Brake Third.I'm still concerned about the degree of enlargement of the clerestory coach as it brings out all the bad points of my painting. It doesn't look too bad in real life, honest! Colin
  2. Long long ago, in a forum far, far away......... If I have missed it or I am posting in the wrong place, please pardon me but did anything come of an idea mooted on this forum (several versions ago) for collecting together the series of Werrett wagon drawings that appeared in the model railway press many years ago and publishing them in a book? I thought at the time that this seemed like a good idea and would almost certainly have been tempted to proffer a few coins by way of trade for a copy. Now I'm sure that there may be many potential problems in bringing such a project to fruition and I have no idea of the time scale involved but I just thought I'd ask if anything was afoot Colin Davy
