    That's very interesting news. If the chassis was resin like their 08 it would make getting a rolling chassis much easier.

    My personal preference is to use Halfords grey primer as base colour for carriage and wagon roofs. Then to apply washes of darker grey and blacks, with some weathering powders, until the required level of filth is achieved. I find this method helps to stop them all looking too uniform.

    Indeed they do. But it is the last of my BR period stock, and is just languishing in the display case. A Fowler would actually get run on Inglebourne.
