  2. Just to expand on this topic some more from a friendly Train Driver... Approach Controlled Signal: For a moderatly slow diverging route the signal will be a single yellow with the feather and as the train gets closer to the signal is would clear to a less restrictive aspect (double yellow or green with feather) if the track circuits are clear in the sections in front of course. Approach Released Signal: For a very slow diverging route the signal will remain at danger and as the train gets closer to the signal is would clear to a less restrictive aspect (yellow, double yellow or green with feather) if the track circuits are clear in the sections in front.
  3. One of the tips that Roger gave me before I took over the business was the same thing. Blue the hole with blu tack and push ballest into the blu tack for a seamless finsih ;-) Matt
  4. One tip I found out the hard way with ballesting Pete is to put a bit of blue tack over the hole with the connector in it. I had to rip one out once because i got some PVA glue in it, silly mistake, but very easy when you are wanting to get it all done.
  5. Thank you all for your very kind comments, if you would like to keep up to date with whats going on with our news and products we have recently launched our Facebook page, so please take a look and become a fan. Matt PS, can't wait to see them up and running on the layout Pete...
  6. Also thank you to everyone who has commented on this post. To answer your question D869 - Andy: On those particular signals there are 2 holes for screws at the ends of the PCBs which are used to screw up into the underside of the baseboard. Usually the connector on the PCB is a lot longer and we supply extra connectors, like the ones featured above to allow fitting to thicker baseboards. But due to Pete using a box file he asked for the smallest connection as he was limited on space.
  7. Thank you Pete for your wonderful comments, it's nice to know that all the time and effort that has gone into our packaging is being appriciated. It's hard to believe that we have only been in business 14 months now. I think the height is looking perfect on them Pete, you made the right decision there. As a Driver for a well known Freight Operation Company I see many London stations with the reduced height signals due to visability issues, I believe you could base your layout on most Surburban stations and they still would fit the job. Once again, very plased that you are happy with them. Regards, Matt
  8. Sorry it's been so long since the last update, we have been working on a secret project - details coming soon ;-)

  9. Missing the roof boards off the Driving Motor Coaches on the Brighton Belle, anyone else had this problem?

  10. Sorry we haven't posted on RMWeb for a while, the business has kicked off more than we could have ever hoped for, which means every spare minuet is spent making signals. How is everyone else doing?
