Will do sir. I must say the undergubbins are delightful, with a wire thingy (pull rod) that returns one's bogies to the straight position. It wasn't until I flipped her belly up did I realise that there were contacts on the bogie and thus lighting. Only an hour to go at work (less if I fall asleep).

I can recommend Warwick Buildings, the former Mrs Dubya has her workshop in one and is superb. The only problem she had was with the door swelling up, which was solved by getting the plane out and then waterproofing the wood again. She just has a small oil filled heater on low during the winter months, mainly because of all the paper and card she keeps in there. She spent months researching and they finally had what she was after. Her next door neighbour went with another company for her garden gym. Good luck, research is key, but you already knew that 👍

So... this will be found at the end of a sleepy ex LSWR branchline somewhere in the deepest darkest (!?) west country. I only have a phone camera so the photos don't do it justice but it's a stunning hefty model. I didn't realise it had lighting and the tail lamp illuminates. I'll fire up the transformer later and have a play. PS: it's definitely what I would call crimson and not what I'd call maroon. I wish EFE had chosen the same shade for their 'crimson'.

Mid-Cornwall Lines - 1950s Western Region in 00

I've used it quite successfully but that wasn't on electronics. -
Thank you. As you may remember, I've built the odd crossover or two to OO-SF but never a whole layout and only ever tested those with one or two of my locos, certainly none with a tender behind. If my master plan escapes my head, I will need a double -slip so that kinda spells danger if it's that much trouble. Time for a think 🤔

Might I suggest a Booth's or Gordon's 6 wheel tanker? -
I wouldn't have had arms or a face...

Indeed, the part of loco construction I don't feel confident with tackling just yet. Plus the added cost of jigs and Carlos Fandango bits and bobs, and it could turn out very expensive and all ending up on eBay. So yes a screw together chassis please someone 👍 PS: I have just been informed that a suprise (for me, as I didn't know I was buying it until I had a 💡) purchase has been posted... more when it arrives 😁

I had heard Adrian at ABS but obviously that's moved on again to Modelstock ABS 4mm, so I don't know for sure
