  1. Oh, Jamie; what a day! ......but, it does show what a blessing you are as a friend and partner.
  2. Oh, not another pre-election report!
  3. Considering you're under the affluence of incahol, that still makes perfect sense............. Unfortunately!
  4. .....but making it all the easier for taking the Michael out of each other.
  5. Have a smashing day, Chris.
  6. Working the graveyard shift, obviously?
  7. Vivid and lucid dreams can often be precipitated by taking certain prescription drugs.......so, perhaps your Furry Pandamonium Creed experience, is all on the NHS.
  8. What a super picture! ......I think the Woodpeckers hereabouts must all be of the lesser-spotted variety; for, you never see any!
  9. "Cabernet Saluminium Blanc"
  10. Yes thank you, we arrived home at 19.00hrs., following a long day at the hospital and a protracted return drive through heavy traffic in very inclement weather at nightfall......how people can commute regularly in circumstances like that, I can't imagine!
  11. Morning!......It`s "Christie day"; so three appointments there for me; spread over 5 hours .....but, will include adequate time for a lunch for Mum, of course! Mancunia is going to live up to its reputation for weathery-wetness, so brollies to the fore, I think.
  12. Just don't want you to feel sidelined, John.
  13. By pure grammatical extrapolation; may we now offer congratulations (relief) that you are no longer 'incompetent'?
  14. Brilliant, it's surely got to be known as the "The tenner ghost train" layout now.
  15. Nope, you actually get 50% demerited, for trying to be "too clever by half", with the Enigma post.
  16. Judas! ......and the broken thumbnail repair was all going so well!
  17. Only because you scored a bonus point for use of alliteration.
  18. Daren't even say "Touch wood!".......for, knowing your luck, Bob. You'd get a splinter!
  19. Strike 1: "64XX" - Use of coded messages to discuss trains or m*delling. ....... Good try though!
  20. Mum and I, joined our dear John at the service of thanksgiving to celebrate Sandy's life, at the committal service and then we were warmly welcomed for refreshments with John's family and friends. John had put so much diligent, loving care into the day, we tangibly felt his devotion for his Sandy and it was a real privilege to be able to attend and offer a little support to a person so kind and dear and whom has selflessly supported me through many difficulties. ......Rest peacefully, Sandy. Bless you, John.
  21. OK then; options as I see them: drive for 60 mins., without any refreshments?......or......drive for less time and drink like a fish?
  22. Did they go flat at the bottom like my tyres always seem to?
  23. Almost the E.R's definition of a "bloody hell"
  24. Aye, an would tha knows it, Capt`n Colby is a former shipmate of the Privateer's University at Keele-Haul.
