Halloween was last week... do keep up.

Taking my Grandson (then  3-y-o) out for the day we got to lunchtime  but he had a sit-down strike , refused to budge because he hadn't had his mid-morning snack so it could not possibly be lunchtime !

My garage is full of all sorts of stuff  " put in a safe place " trouble is I don't seem to have used that place on a regular basis .

My F-I-L was excessively tidy.- In his workshop /shed even the spiders knew their place!

Wouldn't have me ... something to do with childhood jaundice.... That was a mobile unit in the works canteen and during my first month of work after leaving school.

I have twice been on the receiving end  of the blood transfer system. Just two "units " in total.

Don't know if it had anything to do with time or temperature but today SWMBO went posh and served up Cinnamon Swirls ! Very tasty but would rather have had a bacon butty. 

Don't worry, it will be returned in October,  undamaged.

life looks bit strange to the grand parent generation too!

Property next door was rented, chickens and vegie tenants now gone, so new shed worthwhile. Rats dealt with by council for a very modest outlay, although we live very close to a farm, so wild live stock a constant hazard. Currently badgers wandering through the garden at night, we can hear their claws drumming on the path slabs, there's a sett at the far edge of the field behind our property. must be getting used to the sights and smells after 45 years here.

Makes one wish to transfer to Apple. Son in law  uses both systems, W10 for work and Apple for all personal uses  There is no doubt which he prefers.

I have assiduously avoided mobile devices, even the early "Brick sized " ones. not missed the facility yet!!

Can we have vote on whether we care what you eat? Will postal votes be allowed ?

Who will have a casting vote in event of a disputed count?

What happens if the fishcake and/ or the chips go cold while waiting for a definitive result?

These and other questions need answers!

Yes, St John do seem to be able to pick people with the "get up and go" to fill their vacancies... ( Wish we could say the same about our current gov't. )
