Steve, will there be the connecting bus service from/to Bristol Parkway that has sometimes run in previous years, please?

Hi. Here's the information that's been provided to us by the club:

First Bus operates a T1 service a short walk (15-20 minutes) from Parkway station. This service runs every 30 minutes on a Saturday, and hourly on a Sunday. The journey time is under 30 minutes. A map at the bottom of the page shows where the bus stop is located called Great Stoke. The stop to get off at is Thornbury Leisure Centre.

Click on the below link to find out more about the bus service on offer.

  5. Hi all,

We've been in discussion with Ally Pally about the unacceptable car parking situation for traders and layout owners. They have ensured us that ALL fines will be cancelled so should you receive a fine letter, please just ignore it.

We're sorry for any hassle this has caused. Trust me, we'll be speaking with the venue about how we can ensure this doesn't happen at the 2025 event!

Question to the Warners team, I was told today when I arrived (as an exhibitor)  to park in the exhibitors marked carpark section and parking would be free.

when leaving we noticed the ticket machines (and the ANPR mast), and checked the reg which showed as owing payment for parking.  Several other exhibitors saw the same same thing and went and paid (not wanting for fall foul of the dodgy parking company) and I did the same.

would be good to know from anyone in the organising team what should have happened.

other than that slightly sour end to the day I had an enjoyable day out with DEMU.   I didn’t get much of a chance to see any layouts unfortunately,  (I’m not a fan of the separation of trade into one room and layouts in the other.)  We had a few people at the stand who hadn’t realised there was another hall hiding all the layouts

Hi. Traders should have been directed to a different car park which would have been free. We've been made aware of a steward making a mistake which has meant a small number of traders being charged. Can you please message me your car registration and we'll get you refunded. I'm really sorry for the confusion.

Any chance that a copy of the floor plan, with a list of the layouts and traders, which could be printed off, so that I and others could plan our day?

Also, don`t forget that there is no longer free car parking, except for the first 30mins and blue badge holders.

    The tariff is

    30min – 1hr £1.50

    1hr - 2hr       £3.00

    2hr – 3hr      £4.50

    3hr – 4hr      £6.00

    Up to 24hrs £8.00

Blue badge holders must scan their badge at the payment terminals and enter their vehicle reg number to receive their free parking.

Car parking machines will only accept card payments, no cash. Vehicle details are collected on entry via ANPR. You can pay up to 24hrs online. After that time a PCN will be issued.

Hi. We'll aim to get a floorplan/trader list uploaded this evening. Hope this helps. Steve

Just to confirm, are tickets bought from this link of the "print at home" variety - or do they save to mobile phones?

At this moment, family issues etc mean that I don't know if I'll be able to attend this year - same goes for certain other shows.

If I'm unable to decide until a day or two before, I'd prefer not to be reliant on the mail ... .

Hi Huw. They save on your phone to be scanned upon entry.

I've got the same problem Tim - only the watching trains at Tytton Hall Yard is linked to in the email. A shame because the "watching trains" videos are my least favourite and the other two with Phil and Tony sound really interesting!
