  1. The wheels warped on my Bachmann version, I do need to get the spares for it.
  2. 3 MCV in paint. 1 MXV 10 in paint, 1 MXV 10 complete, 3 MCV in works, 4 MXV 9 in works. I need to print more MCV brakes, 2 more MXV 10, and work out MCVs still required. More wheels and buffers soon.
  3. I have used the odd drop of engine oil. Plastic compatible one. Still seems ok. Well the plastic cased injectors have sat in it over 20 years. But only used on axle bearings steel and brass.
  4. Apart from domestic video, I do not know of any Sony lenses. My HDV is Carl Zeiss vario sonnar. The 4000P was Sony branded. Not sure where I put it as the tube has worn out. The recorder still works. 42 years old design.
  5. That top one is like post cataract vision with lowish light. As i was trying to explain.
  6. Depth of field is great, with fixed focus it is essential. Eye based bright sunlight i can read number plates. And down to 250mm. Still short sighted. Night time lots of grain and no focus. Just amount of light and my own irises. You get really good at understanding optics with a number of eye conditions and using glasses. Also found the smaller the sensor the greater the depth of field. 35mm, 2/3 in tube, down to CCD and whatever my newest HDV thing has. Depth of field gets deeper.
  7. My Discovery 2 is getting rather grotty on the chassis, a footstep is rotten, and a rusty seam under bonnet where it got pressure washed a year or so ago. Footstep will be welded, if it fails mot new chassis.
  8. As usual Guerilla up for technical acheivement. As far as I am concerned they deserve it. I was a big player of Killzone 3 multiplayer, it looked absolutely stunning. I saw some footage from the first Call of Duty for the XBone / PS4 era and this will shock. It was the same resolution and looked worse on Bone, than KZ3 on PS3.
  9. Steve from Railtec has come through 2 custom sets for Pool 7603 MSVs Ordered the 47 to go with them. Will be my 34 minerals next and my Clayliners.
  10. Will send when next on pc as details not on my phone
  11. I did not hear back from you,i will look up my notes and take it from there, since i havve ordered quite a bit as well from you. May be isp or email issue Got 34 minerals now to sort out as well. The 2p looks great
  12. For my minerals i noted down type, tops layout, tare, number. Had one anomaly a Morton equipoes labelled MCV not MXV.
  13. I wanted custom MSV, about 18 of same pool, won't do them. Prepared to pay as well. Got the details somewhere. Actually have two complete rakes of numbers. But only want 7603 set.
  14. Nice to see these. Looks like you modelled an ex WR IDMBSL Not noticed the profile differences on 116 and Lima though, a bit late for mine!
  15. Transfers Got a bit of a problem, want to make up loads on TOPS panels, but cannot find the base transfers. Over 50 wagons to be done. Also one job i can't get railtec to do. TOPS wagon panels pool version, letters for the codes, pool numbers. Used to be SMS. Anything like this anywhere?
  16. I fit brass bearings and LMS buffers, these are printed in the original resin so a bit fragile, unlike ABS Like, got 6 complete, running CCT transfers (thankyou). They look a lot better in real life than on phone camera Latest print from Iron Mink STLs using ABSLike resin
  17. Wheel prices. Due to code 100 streamline i can use slightly deeper wheels, 3 hole disc Hornby were good value, now about 2.40 an axle. So will be buying more from Gibson. 34 wagons, was expecting to cost about 100, now quite a bit more. 6.50 of bits, 40p of resin. Roughly 200 now. I found spotting notes of a mineral wagon train. 10 clasp 20 Morton 4 10ft All running numbers and tares
  18. Iron mink designs are non commercial. So doubt shapeways would do it.
  19. My LRM one is coming along well, just detail parts and move some brake gear which is clashing,
  20. We were chatting in the office back in pre covid era, a youngish lad who goes to see bands was raving about the guitarist (not sure who), saying best he has seen and best there is. Anyway I have see some of the best in the world, so mentioned seeing Van Halen in 1984, at the time Eddie Van Halen was probalby the best guitarist there was. Others including Gary Moore. Then I mentioned that the older boss, can out do that. He mentioned going to a festival with friends, and who was there? Jimi Hedrix. So I outdid with EVH and I was outdone with Hendrix.
