  1. Don't forget that this is on this weekend there is free parking in the main station car park on Saturday and Sunday, The cameras will be turned off. There is a stunning selection of layouts and I would suggest, if you can, to come on the Sunday as it is less busier? See you there Martin Marrison UMRC
  2. So Andy a SE&CR Manning and Wardle then? I think it would go down well if not correct..... It would certainly get Rapid some publicity..... I limited run perhaps with orders up front ......
  3. SE&CR K class would be really good too..... Folkstone Harbor anyone?
  4. How about a Southern U/U1/N/N1 class 2-6-0 with the possible option of a 2-6-4 River to? . Plenty of different variants and different liveries. The Bachmann N is very old tooling now. If it was designed correctly it could to all variants?
  5. I have s SE&CR sound fitted one on order I assume these will come out latter? Martin
  6. I've got one of these and i would recommend then and i had my 2 from Rapido too. Very good
  7. Andy looking very good can't wait all we seem to be missing now is a SE&CR cattle wagon? I would look good in your train.....I know you like a challenge?
  8. Any news on this? It was going to be April 2023 and I just wanted to know when my bank account will be hit for my purchases.... 😀
  9. How about the Brighton Directors as preserved at the Bluebell Railway Built in 1914 and ran until 1964 lots of different liveries
  10. Colin a very good show from all the Uckfield Model Railway Club that were in attendance.....
  11. A SECR 01 and 0 would be nice but very similar to the Bachman Class. How about a modern take on the SE&CR R/R1 class 0-6-0T as per the old Wren/ Hornby Dublo one....Lots of options and liveries too.. Martin
  12. Don't hold you breath guys....... Not sure if I get a 24 hour for that?
  13. I just wondered if there will be another run with different numbers at all? SC&CR stock seems very popular at the moment which is excellent news!
  14. I had my coaches out at the Uckfield Model Railway Club last night and everyone was very impressed. We all think the color is a bit "Royal Mail Red" compared with most SE&CR coaches but they still were very good. What would look good, is if they were availible in in London, Chatham and Dover Railways teak? That would look really good? I am going to P4 them, change the couplings for something more scale, weather the roof and if I am brave enough lightly weather the bodywork to tone down the color.. I think they will look very good behind a P Class....
  15. very nicely done and the photos you take a pin sharp. I look forward to reading your updates.... Its making me up my game in 4mm now.... Where are those rivets😄
  16. often wonder if they would do an up to date L1 4-4-0 like the old Triang one... >
  17. My understanding is that the level of passengers on Southern has not recovered post Covid so they can get way with using less 171s and thus reduce their leasing costs, mainly on the Uckfield line, We had all hoped that the 171s would have generated enough traffic to justify 3rd rail electrification and the use of all electric stock.....
  18. The D40 was also the same as the SE&CR G class often know as glass houses due to their cab room if I am not mistaken? So another SE&CR kit....
  19. The Thomas style thing is a Brighton E2.... I suppose if I take my glass off it will look acceptable!
  20. So is there an opportunity for some bogie early pre-grouping compartment stock in pre-grouping liveries then? It is works in 4 and 6 wheelers then.....
  21. Marc I have always heard them call "dumb" buffers rather than "dead" or are both used?
