  1. No I telephoned them direct and paid early as requested by them in order to keep the pre order price. The money left my account a month or so ago. I may just send them an email or give them a ring to check.
  2. Not sure about that one. My set were ordered in Jan 2013 and I've heard nothing as of yet.
  3. Hi folks, has anyone any knowledge of between what dates 34061 '73 Squadron' carried red nameplates please? Many thanks in advance. Lee
  4. Does anyone have any recommendations for waterslide or pressfix cabside numbers for renumbering 30193 or 30225. I have noted there is a set at Model Master Jacksons which includes numbers for both 30203 and 30236 but I have not been able to find a set for 30200 which is what I want to renumber one of my locos to. If there are not any 30200 waterslide transfers available anywhere could anyone recommend which are the most suitable available pressfix transfers to use to apply individual numbers to the cabside please. Many thanks in advance. Lee
  5. I have just found this photo of 4992 'Crosby hall taken during August 1954. It appears to my eyes that it is green with an early emblem on the tender. The loco was allocated to Laira shed at the time. Would anyone please be able to clarify from the photo that the loco is green? I have tried to use Coachmanns earlier advice in checking the tender livery lining to determine livery colour.
  6. Thanks for that information Andy. Regards Lee
  7. Thanks Karhedron, I haven't got that book but I may try to grab a copy at some point along with a copy of The Book of the Hall 4-6-0 Part 1 which also looks interesting. Yes you are correct the Hawksworth tender is not what i'm looking for, its specifically the Collett one. Thanks again.
  8. Following on from Coachmanns advice I have been scouring my books and the internet for photos of early emblem green livery Halls and have found several. However I am particularly interested in 4908 'Broome Hall', 4931 'Hanbury Hall' 4936 'Kinlet Hall and 4950 'Patshull Hall' all of which were allocated to the West Country during the mid 50's. I have not at present been able to source photos of these where I have felt comfortable to say its green with early emblem. Has anyone any knowledge of photographs of any of these locos from the mid 50s especially if they are in green livery with an early emblem? Any advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks. Lee
  9. Hello Folks, Would anyone be able to recommend a transfer sheet to me for numbering both 30585 and 30586 into early emblem liveries. My 30585 is currently the late crest model and 30586 is the latest release with 'BRITISH RAILWAYS' on the splashers? Many thanks, Lee.
  10. Many thanks Coachmann, I will see if I can now identify the liveries from black & white photos with your advice. Regards Lee
  11. Hi All, I have a Bachmann 32-005 Hall 4962 'Ragley Hall', which is in Green with early emblem which I would like to re-number. I believe Bachmann have modelled this on its mid 50's livery. I am wondering if anyone has knowledge of what other non modified halls carried an early emblem with green livery? I am especially interested in locos that were allocated to sheds in the West country. Due to the time period of around 1955 with B&W photos I find it very difficult to distinguish between black and green liveries. Thanks in advance for any advice. Lee
  12. Thanks Chris, I am looking to use the Hornby Maunsell p set 199 in a 1954/55ish era. I have made up set 27 in c&c but was looking to see whether set 199 was always in Green to use it realistically alongside my c&c set 27. I'm assuming then that set 199 may have gone straight from malachite to BR Green, or was it a set that was kept in revarnished malachite? I have also not been able to find a photo of set 199 in c&c in my limited book & DVD collection. Regards Lee
