  1. That is the one . That is the article as well. Thanks. Thats such a cool idea to knock down the house and use it as an access way.
  2. I think it was in this magazine. But sometime in the past three years. Can anyone remember the name of the layout that as part of the detail featured a road that went through what was once a house? I think the era was 1970's. There was a terrace of houses and the roof of one of the houses was still present but the walls removed so that two separate roads were connected. I think I googled and bookmarked it at the time but can't find it now. Think it was OO gauge. Thanks.
  3. Are there any pictures of the LMS diesel locomotives 10000 or 100001 in Railfreight triple grey or the GBRF livery. Would be interested to see those if that's possible? Thanks.
  4. Hi, did this layout appear in any other RM articles or in any other magazines?
  5. Thanks - that is one busy layout !
  6. Regarding the Gauge 1 railway there.....There were a couple of mk I's running around in Chiltern Railways livery the other day.
  7. This picture is from The Encyclopedia of Model Railways, but the text does not identify it. I wonder if anyone knows. Could it be Don Jones?
  8. Something else I was thinking about was that I don't think RM has ever seemed to cover the Bekonscot railway. (at least it wasn't in the spreadsheet)
  9. Hi, I went online and got a copy of the August 1989 issue - thanks yes, that was the one I was thinking of !
  10. ok looking. cant remember if terminus or not. Just remember he used a vosene bottle to get the shape of a loco.
  11. Hi, I remember somewhere between 1989 and 1992 there was a couple of articles about a garden railway (probably O-gauge) and the guy had built the locomotives and stock himself, one of the locos was in the style of the NBL D6100 and I seem to recall that one part of the shape he used a shampoo bottle. Does anyone remember anymore about this or what issues the articles appeared in?
  12. Hi, I would be interested in seeing completed pictures of your triang class 31's
  13. Hi, late update but yes Howes/Railmatch said the can I had was an old batch as identified by the stock label on the can of 009272.
  14. I just did some spraying with a can of RM206 rall grey (The class 31 on the left). But the dried paint looks much closer to intercity beige than grey. I wondered if anyone else has encountered this? (The class 37, painted elsewhere, looks the correct shade)
