  1. “If my thought dreams could be seen They’d probably put my head In a guillotine” B Dylan
  2. More good stuff. love the technical description eg “bushy bits”. underselling it again. D
  3. I’ve never thought lovely blue skies were the best backscene option given UK weather but looking at your most recent post I think in this case the greater contrast with the viaduct will work. The lane is looking really good. D
  4. We’ve had a similar weather change herein Motherwell
  5. A lovely “summery” shot for the solstice, Jeff D
  6. I don’t have any experience with point rodding but did recently do battle with Modelu guttering/down pipe fittings. They are wonderful products but oh so tiny. I could not have managed without my illuminated magnifying lamp. You are braver than me to take on this task! D
  7. The second shot works better I think. It does better justice to your hard work. D
  8. Static grass often looks dark/rich. It looks a bit dark compared to the “real life” shot but future layers will probably tone it back. The “patchwork” look is very successful
  9. You’ve “nailed it”, especially in the first of today’s new shots! D
  10. As impressive as always! I appreciate the use of technical terms eg “grotting”. It raises the tone no end. D
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-57169995 Been moonlighting, Jeff?
  12. Second picture in the first of this evening’s posts is superb! The rest are just very good D
  13. Do I spy a little recycling of walling from KL2 Or have been really busy? D
  14. Your new bridge sit well where you’ve chosen to place and it will frame the scene nicely. D
  15. I was meaning the DSLR. I must confess to not being a steam buff, despite my age.
  16. “Proper” camera sots are much more convincing, superb. Did I spy some dabbling in backscenes as well? D
  17. Even your preliminary flocking (technical term) makes such a difference. As you say snow covered winter scene to spring in days! D
  18. So we are going green then? I’m looking forward to seeing that, Jeff
