      Ah yes, The Quiet Man.....a fine film with arguably the longest punch up ever....and some fine shots of Irish steam...

      Director John Ford told Maureen O'Hara what to whisper in John wayne's ear at the end of the movie but she relied she couldn't do that. "You can and you will". no one to this day knows what she said but it resulted in the shocked look on wayne's face that Ford wanted!

    At the moment I'm tidying my little library (a 5'0" square outhouse) and putting more shelves up. Once I've done that, I'll dig out what info I have and my recollections, and sent you some more. Let me know what else you need to know ?
