    Some aspects of ordering from Modelmaster are very efficient??? I ordered some nameplates on the 18th August 2021. Very quick reply emails: 18/8/2021 Order successfully received 18/8/2021 Payment accepted 18/8/2021 Order confirmed 19/8/2021 Processing in progress 03/9/2021 Order shipped. The order has still to arrive!!!!!!!!! I should add that over a number of years and orders the service has been fine.

    Large delivery from Ocado last night - food,drink, toilet rolls etc. - no substitutions. I don't know if any of you use it, but since the demise of the Mysupermarket comparison site, www.trolley.co.uk has proved useful when an individual purchase is required.

    I also received an email from Hornby yesterday saying "only a few left" of Elders Fyffes and City of Leicester. Both are now showing "Out of Stock" on the Hornby site.

    I see one seller on Ebay is "hoping" to make a profit? He has both of the Hornby Dublo Merchant Navy Class at £525 each. I'm "watching" just to see if they sell.

    I shall continue to fill my wife's Volvo V40 1.8i Sport with E5 for as long as it is available. This is a 2004 model (bought from new) and is hardly ever used, 2019/20 annual mileage 309miles, 2020/21 =499miles. I read that E10 might not be good if a car lies idle for long periods - in our case it could be months. Local Shell station has pumps giving both E5 and E10.

    While I agree with your comment about the TTS sound, it can be improved (slightly) by replacing the speaker with a bass enhanced one. I replaced one of mine with a round (28mm) speaker from Youchoos and it was better.

    That's the worry. I had a "shipment" email from Hornby on Thursday (26th) and according to the Hermes tracker they are still awaiting the parcel - I assume at the local distribution depot?

    Have just received an email from Hornby to say that M/N General Steam Navigation is in the warehouse and will be delivered in a few days. Just received a further email (5pm) saying they had arrived and available to order now - limited to 500 each model - no mention of being "sold-out" - yet!

    I see today that Will Buxton is predicting the driver line-up for 2025! I predict that by 2045 Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso will have retired from F1 - I cannot imagine that would make a headline - but I think I would be 100% correct in my prediction.

    I think the whole season is becoming "silly season". If you have put a foot in a racing car, and your Dutch, that makes you eligible to make headlines with stupid comments.

    The new models that are currently in the pipeline are limited to 500 of each model. Most retailers have "sold-out" and even Hornby only have General Steam Navigation available to pre-order - Elders Fyffes in SR livery - sold out.

    I ordered the Collectors Club model when it was announced - and have an email from Hornby confirming the order. It is strange that it no longer shows anywhere.

    What has it got to do with Marko? Just more headlines. RB are alleged to have hired lawyers to investigate the crash! Look out for tv commercials saying "Are you a racing driver who was blamed for a crash - ring Suitt, Grabbit and Run". If GR has signed for Mercedes Benz, the pressure on him will be immense - no matter what he says - he has to win the 2022 Championship - he has no other option.

    Helmut Marko says Max Verstappen won’t resort to “revenge or other ” against Lewis Hamilton, but Red Bull may still get their lawyers involved. Does this mean that "everytime" Max bumps wheels with anyone, lawyers will be come involved?

    You forgot to add "Helmut Marko - Hamilton ‘destroyed Alex Albon’s career". I recall that was a right hand corner - with a Red Bull going round the outside - they never learn!

    Based on the sprint, it looks like Max's race win tomorrow - by about ten seconds - give or take.

    I see that it is "Game Over" for Bottas, but Mercedes will delay the announcement - this is according to Toni Vilander - I had to look him up but he is Finnish - so I suppose he would know more than most pundits
