  1. I have a BSK I’m looking to renumber. I have 34778 as a complete number on a transfer sheet, so was hoping to use it. I appreciate everyones very kind help.
  2. Thankyou Simon, much appreciated. Looks like back to the drawing board.
  3. Hello. Can anyone tell me where BR Mk1 BSK coach 34778 was allocated during the 1980s please? Or what prefix it had (W,E,M etc) thankyou in advance
  4. Brilliant, the info I was hoping for. Many thanks. I hadn’t appreciated the windows were smashed in the picture (yes ADB975138), I’d assumed wrongly they were clear or removed for a purpose. Thanks again
  5. Hello. Looking at modelling an Enparts coach, pictured at Exmouth by Paul Bartlett in 81. It’s an ex BSK, but the photo shows battery boxes and most equipment missing from underneath. Was this how it ran, or had the equipment been removed prior to scrapping perhaps. Does anyone know of any good sources of info relating to Enparts coaches, or photos please. TIA
  6. Hi All. Thanks for the help. The quartering was indeed miles out, and putting it back seems to have solved the problem. I think a little loctite on the axle/cranks might make it a perfect runner. Thanks again to everyone who commented.
  7. Thanks, I hadn’t checked the quartering, could be a good shout. The front 2 pairs move freely, but do seem to be getting stuck somewhere??? I’ll check quartering, thanks
  8. No period, it’s a gift for someone who lives in Worthing.
  9. Hello. I have a Bachman 08, which was converted to EM by a previous owner. I don’t know if the connecting rods have been changed or not, but the front 2 wheels no longer turn. The rear wheels are driven by the motor and the front 2 wheel sets are driven by the connecting rods from the rear. There seems to be something stopping the front wheels from being driven, although both turn ok by hand. Any thoughts?
  10. Hello. I’m looking either RTR or kit form wagons, which are branded with a ‘Worthing’ in Sussex based company. I’ve searched internet and checked out the Dapol range, but can’t find anything? Grateful if anyones knows of any wagons with Worthing branding please? thanks
  11. Thanks all....some 3D printed model baskets and creates have been ordered.
  12. Does anyone have any photos of the inside of a MK1 BG? Ideally not empty. I see there was a recent discussion about why BGs were used and people describe all sorts of items being carried. I’d like to add a suggestion of an interior to an OO gauge BG I have in blue/grey. I can find a couple of photos of empty BGs inside, but nothing showing a BG in use. Bikes seem a popular suggestion, as does luggage, right up to BRUTEs. I’d love a few prototype photos as inspiration. Thanks in advance
  13. Hi Crompton...thankyou. I was thinking something like RA32 (which I think is what’s fitted), but perhaps a metal or plastic version? A like for like swap, but i want to ditch the rubber.
  14. Hello all. Im currently trying to improve a Replica Railway’s MK1 BG. The gangway ends appear to be rubber and not the best looking (imo). Does anyone know of any replacement gangway ends available? I don’t mean ones that connect to the next coach, I means gangway ends which are closed, as if it were at the end of a train. I can find hundreds of forums about close coupling and connecting gangways, but couldn’t find anything about closed end of train gangways. Photo shows what is currently in place, want to replace with something more realistic, if possible. thanks in advance
