lankyandy replied to Ellis Clark Trains's topic in Ellis Clark Trains
Mine has arrived today and it’s a fantastic model. Looks great, runs so smoothly and sounds brilliant. well done everyone at Ellis clark for producing such a great model. -
They had a triple set for sale to take away at Kettering. I didn’t ask when the rest were due but it can’t be long

They had 3 painted samples at Kettering today. They looked absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately I didn’t go back to photo them but it wouldn’t of done them justice anyway

Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale
lankyandy replied to Andy Y's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
I have also ordered 2 sound fitted deltics but the 3rd loco was sold out of the sound fitted version so. For those of us that missed the sound option can we purchased a sound chip and speaker set up from yourselves to match the others? Or more simply can we retro fit your sound package to your locos? The locos look great btw. many thanks -

I looks fantastic Jeff. Really captures the reality of the railway going through the countryside. To me that makes a huge difference and is something I’m working on capturing on my attempt at the northern fells. Great work and thanks for taking the time to keep us all updated on the progress. Happy new year Andrew -

It looks really impressive. What’s even more amazing is the blue carpet isn’t covered in white spots! -

It’s looking great. The dead tree with ivy is particularly effective. -

Makes you realise the number of trees your going t9 need when you see the actual size. -

They all look great but that 1/3 dead tree is really impressive. -

That really is something to be proud off. The sense of scale when you step back is seriously impressive. -
I can only agree with the brilliant service. The have chipped many locos for me over the past 12 months and helped with a custom project. They have always provided honest advice and the projects sound great.

I totally agree individual looks better. As you say it’s getting the depth of the texture to look ‘right’ . Some experimentation to do. -

Good evening. I have started working through a single arch bridge in o gauge, and I’m just planning out stone production. Have you tried adding texture to the stones? Looking at the size of stones I will be using, I think it may be needed. just wondering if you have tried anything with any success. One thought I had was to make a version of your ‘mould’ but on a textured floor tile giving it a slightly rough surface? viaduct is looking great and planning out one small arch really starts to put into perspective just how much work is involved! -

Having read this thread last night I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the build. I have been wanting to build a small photographic scene for my o gauge locos but couldn’t decide how to make it different to the usual embankment. Following your inspiration I am going to use your methods for a bridge in the scene and see what happens! Thank you for taking the time to document it in such detail. It’s really appreciated -

The new scene sounds fantastic. On your photo plank what are the dimensions. I’m just starting on similar item as a display stand and just wondered what yours is for reference. many thanks -

I have just spent the last few hours reading through this thread and some great great modelling. I remember seeing various dioramas/layouts of yours in magazines over the years and it was all part of my conversion to O gauge. Been so interesting to start to understand how the results are achieved. Can I ask why you leave Ballasting till last? When most other people recommend ballasting first. Is it simply that’s the way it’s done in the real world so looks more realistic for it? Thanks for all the inspiration you have provided. -
I’m looking for the above. Thanks in advance

I’m looking for an o gauge golden age models A2 blue peter. Preferably in BR Brunswick green with late crest. many thanks

To resurrect on old post. Adrian at torri laser is making the flush glazing windows for me. He is doing a set which is suitable for all there coaches so you will have spares Parts. He is charging £10 a coach. is anyone else interested in these? If so let me know. I calling him back in a weeks time to confirm numbers. I have no cash interest in this he is just setting the machine up to produce this and said if he gets more order now it’s much easier then doing occasional sets.

Good evening. Can I ask how these locos actually run. I have read the thread and can’t find many comment on there running quality. The a3 seemed to have a few problems and just wondered how the a4 compared. thanks
