  1. is it possible to convert farish locos (non dcc ready) to accept the Dapol easi shunt couplings?
  2. Might be an idea to sell all my rolling stock and start afresh
  3. I have a selection of n gauge peco wagons (two are farish) plus rather a lot of farish coaches? How do I know if they are NEM compatible? I'm not sure how I'd know. Cheers Cameron
  4. I've just managed to wire up a Berko 2-aspect colour light signal on my n gauge layout and although I found it confusing at first I soon mastered it and I thought I'd share the method with you all. The wire with a resistor attached goes to the negative terminal of a 12 volt power supply. Next the red and green wires are attached to either ends of an on-on switch (there are three terminals). The middle terminal of the switch goes on to the positive terminal of the 12 volt power supply.

Perhaps better as a topic not an SU.

  6. I have wired my signals as instructed. the lights illuminate ok but the signal arms don't move when the switches are flicked. I have on-off-on (centre off) spring loaded toggle switches fitted. Is it the switches at fault?
  7. I'm making an n gauge finescale layout with a double slip. Any tips on making it easier will be much appreciated.
