  1. Thanks Paul seen that one, i am refering to the topic by Michael Delamare

Soda Ash Tanks posted on 2/1/2012  there was a picture he took of

a video showing these wanted to know the source may be Michael

can comment, could not copy the picture to show on here,   thanks.

  2. Looking for pictures of these specially the four roof hatches, would like

to model these from 45t tanks,  does any one make transfers for these

  3. Lone Star looks like a dinosaur from  the early sixties as the reference

to  Gaugemaster the so called black ones are  hand held and the red

cased ones are both DC feedback not suitable for coreless motors

i have both and have been running both Bachmann and Hornby

including there latest models for years with no problems

    of over heating motors.

I reckon Hornby more likely as they have obviously got the most recent research and up to date tooling so it would be a relatively 'easy' option to tool a new body. Bachmann model, good as it is would need the 10+ year old research dusting off and reviewing and then would be sat on an old chassis which again whilst good (and I have 2 of these) would benefit from an upgrade not least of which would bearings for the driving wheels.

Well i hope its Bachmann dont have a problem with there current model.

Have you released it from the mount to see whether it is noisy running disconnected from the gear train? I have never seen this on a Bachmann model, but a motor with the worm hard down on the pinion can be noisy.

If still noisy independent of the gear train, as already suggested definitely have it replaced.

Yes i think the motor is a tight fit in its cradle it does press down on the pinion

is there any way to change this.

For those interested there are more images and information on our website News page.

We will be closing the pre-order book on the N gauge ones in due course, and the 00 decorated samples may be here by Warley.

  7. I have found the lighting issue is down to me using my feedback controller

not had this issue with all my other Heljan locos so they have changed some thing

i tried with a normal DC  one and the lights work as they should.
