yes it was quite a Challenge, 15:46 from Liverpool -Stalybridge was first over the affected section. I left at work at 18:30 and some normality was returning. Some delays will occur due to displaced traincrew. Cheers Andy

I was only going to catch it at Helsby, but I could see the sun was out over North Wales so I headed there. Trying to walk across those fields was a nightmare!! And yes It was Baltic......But at least we some sun on the subject!

60017 still looking shiny heading back toTunstead yesterday, on 6H03, taken at Plumley, Cheshire .

It looks like 60049 will be heading North tonight on 6X65 from Warrington to Carlisle, 60054 may come south shortly then. Cheers andy

It looks like one of the Class which has been on the Liverpool Coal circuit is heading to Carlisle. It could be 60074 which will replace 60054 on the HOBC. Photographing 074 has been a Nightmare for me personally, I just seem to miss it. But hey that s the hobby!!
